| Private education in China has made a great progress under the support of relevant state policies since the reform and opening in 1978,it has upgraded from an important supplement of public education to an important part of Chinese special socialist education.By the end of 2017,there were 177,600 private schools in China,with 51,204,700 million students and 4,303,300 teachers,accounting for 21.35% of the total number of teachers in China,private school teachers are not only the promotion of private schools development,the promotion of Chinese special socialist education development.However,teachers of private schools still face problems such as low social recognition,high job turnover,and incomplete welfare protection in the long-term development process,which has caused a relatively large work and psychological pressure on private school teachers,that restricted the long-term development of private schools and private school teachers.If the problems of private school teachers’ career management was not well solved,for private schools,the teacher construction of private schools will be affected.That will result in private schools’ inability to effectively mobilize the resources of teachers,maximize the potential of teachers and fully mobilize the enthusiasm and creativity of teachers,which will affect the quality and efficiency of private schools,further to affect the long-term survival and development of private schools.For private school teachers,it is easy to cause problems such as unclear career goals and unclear paths,which will affect their individual sustainability and limit the achievement they could achieved,thus cannot meet the high-level needs of their self-value realization and lifelong career development.Therefore,it is necessary to research the career management of private school teachers,this paper selects teachers from 5 private schools in Dalian as the research object.The current situation of the career management of private school teacher through questionnaires and interviews was studied,the problems and reasons of career management of private school teacher was summarized,and countermeasures to solve the problems were proposed.The research was divided into four parts.The first part was the introduction,the research questions was proposed,the research purpose and significance of this paper were summarized,the concepts related to this research were given on the basis of the summary of domestic and foreign research literature,he research methods and research process of this paper was described.The second part was the analysis of the career management status and existing problems of private school teacher,320 teachers from 5 private schools in Dalian were taking as research object,then the status of the private school teachers and private schools were got with the research ideas of “prepare questionnaire-issue questionnaire-recovery questionnaire-analyze questionnaire”,the existing problems of private school teacher’s career management were furtherly analyzed.The third part was the analysis of the reasons for the problems in the professional career management of teachers in private schools,based on the results of questionnaire and interview,this paper analyzes the causes of the problems in private school teachers’ career management from three aspects: self-level,organizational level and social level.There are five reasons for private school teachers’ personal level,including low professional maturity,family constraints,heavy work tasks,psychological pressure,low job satisfaction There are three reasons for the Organization of Private Schools: The lack of modern human resource management mechanism,the slow construction of teachers’ career management system,and the disunity between the development goals of private schools and teachers’ personal goals The social reasons mainly include the low degree of social approval and the poor effect of supporting policies.The fourth part is the countermeasures to solve the problems of teachers’ career management in private schools,in the light of the problems existing in the professional career management of teachers in private schools,this paper correspondingly puts forward some Operability countermeasures and suggestions from three aspects: the self-level of teachers,the organizational level of private schools and the social level.From the private school teachers’ personal level,the paper puts forward three countermeasures: Strengthening self-cognition and consciousness of career management,improving the level of career management by combining theory with practice,and integrating personal career management into the school development goals This paper puts forward three countermeasures of strengthening the consciousness of teachers’ career management,constructing and perfecting the system of teachers’ career management,and establishing and perfecting the safeguard measures of teachers’ career management From the social level,this paper puts forward two countermeasures and suggestions to improve the social recognition of private school teachers and to promote the implementation of relevant laws,regulations and policies. |
