Education informationization is gradually changing the way of physics teaching in middle schools.To solve practical problems,Chinese quality-oriented education requirements pay more attention to the cultivation of students' ability,and to the cultivation of students' comprehensive ability.It has become an innovation and attempt of educational informatization to promote students' independent learning and emphasize the exchange between teachers and students in the flipped classroom teaching model.The requirement of quality education coincides with the requirement of STEM education,which strengthens the connection between disciplines and emphasizes the improvement of comprehensive quality.Integrating STEM education into the teaching model of flipped classroom has the advantages of both.The effectively way to integrate STEM education into the flipped classroom in physics teaching which improve the comprehensive quality of students.This paper attempts to propose and implement the physics flipped classroom teaching model that penetrates STEM education,and takes students' comprehensive ability as the dependent variable to explore its teaching effect.This study mainly includes the following aspects of work:Firstly,the paper expounds the background and research significance of this study.Through literature research,it analyzes the practice of STEM education,flipped classroom teaching and the combination of flipped classroom and STEM education at home and abroad so as to determine the research methods and contents.Secondly,it analyzes the definition of STEM education and flipped classroom teaching model at home and abroad,and the advantages of the teaching model of physics flipped classroom that permeates STEM education.Based on humanistic curriculum theory,constructivism theory,empiricism theory and multiple intelligence theory,it lays a theoretical foundation for its teaching model.Thirdly,based on the teaching principles of physics in middle school,We Chat,QQ communication platform and 3D printing technology are used as technical support to propose a teaching model of physics flipped classroom that penetrates STEM education.This teaching model is mainly divided into three parts,namely,autonomous learning before class,classroom teaching and extracurricular practice.Taking the law of conservation of mechanical energy as an example,a teaching case of physics flipped classroom infiltrating STEM education is proposed.Fourthly,according to the situation that two classes in a middle school have good learning and generally the same level,taking the course of synthesis and decomposition of forces as an example,it implements the teaching mode of physics flipped classroom with infiltration of STEM education in one class.Before the implementation,the QQ communication group of teachers and students and the We Chat communication group of parents should be established in the class.Before class,teachers upload relevant teaching videos on QQ communication group,so that students can study independently and complete relevant exercises.In class,teachers guided students to do small experiments to deepen their understanding of knowledge.Based on the reality,teacher asked how a sailing boat can sail against the wind.After class,students applied what they have learned to explain the principle of sailing against the wind.The students were divided into groups to design a model sailing boat using 3D printing technology.Fifthly,before and after the implementation of the new teaching mode,the experimental class and the control class were investigated by questionnaire,and the changes of the comprehensive ability of students were analyzed.According to the research,the flipped classroom teaching model that permeates STEM education can improve students' comprehensive ability to a certain extent,among which the teaching effect of students' learning interest and learning ability is the most significant.Sixthly,based on the actual situation,it concludes that the teaching mode of physics flipped classroom that penetrates STEM education is of great positive teaching significance.It also proposes to establish an integrated teaching communication platform and a diversified evaluation system,so as to promote the penetration of STEM education in physics flipped classroom.
