In recent years,group reading teaching,as a new reading teaching mode,has been popularized in primary and secondary schools all over the country,and has also been recognized by some primary and secondary schools and front-line teachers.After the partial edition of this textbook has been put into use since 2016,the front-line teachers conduct exploratory teaching according to the new textbook compilation concept and curriculum standard requirements with reference to the teaching reference books.The curriculum standard requires junior middle school students to improve their reading volume and reading level,and pay attention to the cultivation of students' innovative spirit and practical ability.The inquiry unit of news activities is a great innovation in the arrangement of the departmental textbook.When investigating the current teaching situation,we found that there are many problems in the current news reading teaching:the teachers do not have enough understanding of the importance of news reading teaching;influenced by the traditional teaching concepts,the teaching methods and contents of news reading are old,and the classroom teaching mode needs to be innovated;the students' journalism in the textbook Low interest and participation in class.After comparing the multi text teaching methods,it is found that group reading can make up for the deficiency of single reading teaching,mobilize students' enthusiasm for learning and sense of participation in class,exercise their thinking in the process of independent reading and inquiry discussion,which is conducive to the improvement of students' reading literacy.Group reading teaching can form an effective supplement on the basis of the traditional single reading teaching.It is necessary to choose the group reading teaching mode according to the characteristics of the text and the teaching objectives.Therefore,the author combines group reading with news reading teaching to explore the teaching strategies of group reading.Firstly,based on the previous research results,this paper clearly defines the related concepts of group reading teaching,and distinguishes the relationship between group reading and single reading,theme reading and whole book reading.This paper demonstrates the feasibility of group reading from the point of view that group reading conforms to the requirements of the teaching concept,text organization and teaching method of the part of the textbook and the curriculum standard in improving students' reading quantity,and expounds the value of group reading in improving traditional teaching mode,improving students' reading literacy and teachers' professional level.Secondly,on the basis of analyzing the characteristics of news unit arrangement,aiming at the current situation of teachers' poor implementation of news classroom teaching,students'poor enthusiasm for learning and teachers' lack of understanding of group reading,it is clear that group reading is feasible to meet the requirements of news unit teaching,make up for the lack of news reading teaching and meet the reading learning level of junior high school students.Finally,the paper puts forward the teaching strategy of news group reading,mainly from the four aspects of determining teaching objectives,teaching content,teaching process and teaching evaluation,focusing on topic design,text organization,collective construction and classroom questioning.In view of the current situation of group reading,the paper puts forward four suggestions for teachers to implement group reading teaching,which should be based on practice,reasonable arrangement of class hours,not denying the value of single reading teaching and enriching group reading teaching resources.
