In recent years,China’s tennis population has been increasing,and the continuous development of tennis has attracted widespread attention of the community.Especially in 2011,when tennis player Li Na won the women’s singles championship in the French Open,it started a tennis upsurge in China.The development of children’s tennis is the key to the training and selection of tennis talents.Therefore,tennis training organizations in various parts of the country have sprung up like mushrooms.Many primary and secondary schools have invested a lot of money to build tennis courts and set up tennis courses.Children are in a sensitive period and lack of sustained attention.It is children’s nature to be lively and active.It is more suitable for children’s psychological characteristics to adopt game teaching method in children’s tennis teaching.It is a feasible method to improve the teaching quality and effect of courses.The purpose of this study is to enrich tennis teaching methods and promote the development of children’s tennis teaching by studying the application methods and effects of game teaching method in tennis teaching for children aged 8-10.This study analyzes the current situation of the research on children’s tennis teaching and the research on the game teaching method by using the method of literature and materials;it uses the experimental method to conduct the experimental analysis and Research on 48 students without Tennis Foundation in the third grade of Changcheng primary school in Baoding City,Hebei Province;it uses the method of questionnaire survey to adjust the interest,emotional expression and cooperative spirit of 48 students in tennis learning This paper uses the method of expert interview to consult 10 tennis experts on the topic selection,quotation and experimental design of this paper,and uses the method of data statistics to analyze the experimental data of this paper.The experimental group used the game teaching method,while the control group used the traditional teaching method.Some physical fitness indexes and tennis technical indexes of the subjects were tested in the experiment.Through the research and summary before and after the experiment,and the comparative analysis of the experimental data,the following conclusions were drawn:1.Compared with the traditional teaching method,the application of game teaching method has a significant promoting effect on the learning of basic tennis skills,mainly in the stability and accuracy of tennis forehand and backhand strokes and the action of hitting.2.After the experiment,the physical quality of the students in the two groups was significantly improved compared with that before the experiment.Compared with the traditional teaching method,the game teaching method can improve the students’three physical qualities:rope skipping in one minute,sitting forward bending and 25-meter turn-back running.3.Game teaching method plays a significant role in cultivating children’s interest in tennis learning,which is mainly manifested in the higher degree of emotional involvement,sports participation and self-learning consciousness.4.Game teaching method is conducive to the cultivation of children’s cooperative spirit and to the training of children’s communication and cooperation ability with others.
