This research which is based on the mathematics curriculum standards of compulsory education(2018)and the physical and mental development characteristics of primary school students,studies the application of mind map in the teaching of "figure and geometry" in primary school mathematics.The research through the literature study method,experimental method,questionnaire survey method,first of all,using literature research,for nearly 10 years related to the current research of literature and induction;Secondly,experimental research method was used to select all the students in class 1 and class 2 in grade 5 of L primary school in M city as the research objects.Of two classes of students and the experimental measurement before and after the test,after through SPSS software analysis of two classes of students in math,it is concluded that in the elementary school mathematics teaching of graphics and geometric ",mind mapping to improve the student's academic record,again using questionnaire investigation,feedback to students of experimental class experiment investigation,draw a mind map to improve the students' interest in learning.Finally,combined with the inspiration in the experiment and the questionnaire analysis of the students in the experimental class,the application strategy of mind map in the primary school mathematics "graphics and geometry" teaching is obtained,which can help the primary school mathematics teachers and promote the reform of education and teaching.
