Summary High school solid geometry is the expansion and extension of junior high school plane geometry, which has high requirements for students' spatial imagination ability, logical reasoning ability and so on.Solid geometry knowledge is the focus and difficulty of high school learning.According to the questionnaire survey of students, students have difficulties in learning solid geometry, which also has a negative impact on the interest of high school students in learning mathematics. Therefore, the mind map is introduced in the study of solid geometry, which can help students to establish a perfect knowledge structure, exercise students' thinking ability, and cultivate students' divergent thinking.Through the use of mind map to help students solve the problems encountered in the process of learning solid geometry.Based on the theory of thinking map and guided by the core accomplishment of mathematics, some students of a high school in Tianjin were first investigated by questionnaire survey to analyze the problems encountered by high school students in the process of learning solid geometry at present. Then the students were further studied by comparative research and interview to understand the problems, such as lack of consciousness of independent thinking, obstacles of written expression and imperfect knowledge structure.Through the introduction of thinking map in teaching, the purpose of this paper is to help students solve the difficulties in learning solid geometry,to cultivate students' interest in mathematics and thinking ability,so as to improve classroom efficiency, and to provide teaching strategies for mathematics teachers in solid geometry teaching.Better promote their professional development.
