The knowledge of high school mathematics in solid geometry is the extension and extension of the knowledge of plane geometry in junior high school. It plays a significant role in cultivating students’ spatial imagination ability, graphic perception ability, logical reasoning ability and divergent thinking ability. The knowledge of solid geometry in high schools has always been a difficulty for students to learn.Students often encounter problems in this part of the study. This has a negative impact on students’ interest in learning and efficiency, and it also leads to the imperfection of students’ three-dimensional geometric knowledge system.Integrating Mind Maps in teaching can not only train students’ thinking, but also complete the integration of knowledge while establishing a more rational and systematic knowledge network. This study hopes to alleviate students’ obstacles in learning by applying mind mapping to the teaching of solid geometry. In this study, some high school students and some teachers in Yanji City, where the internship is located, were investigated by using literature research methods, questionnaire surveys, and interviews.Through the survey, the present situation of high school students’ learning geometry, the status quo of teachers’ stereo geometry teaching, and the results obtained were investigated. The analysis of data shows that the difficulties encountered by students in the study of three-dimensional geometry mainly include:students’ interest in learning is not high, the ability of language conversion is not sufficient, diathesis is not enough, the ability to think independently, knowledge system is not perfect, etc. The teaching method commonly used in three-dimensional geometry is still based on lecture method, but most teachers would like to find new ways to change the status quo and help students overcome the difficulties encountered in the study of three-dimensional geometry. This paper combines the characteristics of mind maps to analyze the feasibility of applying it to three-dimensional geometry:one is to improve students’ interest in learning three-dimensional geometry;the other is to enhance students’ memory;the third is to help the student’ s thinking to diverge; It is conducive to the establishment of student knowledge system. It also explored strategies for applying mind maps to new classes, practice classes, and review classes of solid geometry. The purpose of this study is to provide first-line teachers with suggestions for improving stereo geometry teaching. It is hoped that this will promote the use of mind maps in stereo geometry and provide students with effective solutions to overcome difficulties. |
