The Music Curriculum Standard of primary school clearly points out:"besides lear ning the basic songs and music knowledge,we should guide the students to take the initi ative to participate in music practice.".It focuses on the aesthetic experience of music,emphasizes the humanistic nature of the music curriculum and the development of stude nts,creative potential,and enables students to learn more lively,interesting,rich and col orful courses with a distinct sense of the times and national characteristics In this contex t,it can fully meet the needs of music teaching in primary schools.In the former study,the Emile JaquesDalcroze found that "some students were able to express music well because they were able to react to the music with their body mov ements";Orve argues that "any part of the body can be used to express not only the basi c beat,but also the awareness of the phrase".In the course of teaching,the author found that the students of grade three in primary school are mainly thinking in images,curiou s,active and playful,and have a strong ability of imitation and creation.When listening to music,students will do some small body movements with the melody;when learning to sing songs,they will visualize the things in the lyrics through simple body movement s;in singing songs,through simple movements to express their feelings about music,an d in the development of performance choreography,through the guidance of teachers,st udents can not only create simple dance movements,but also through the movement of emotion to performance songs.This shows that the use of dance body movements to ass ist music teaching is a very effective method.But at the present stage,although the primary school music teaching material has c overed some simple movements,but relatively speaking,has not combined the music te aching material concrete response to the music teaching,can not really effective use to t he music classroom,the auxiliary teaching.Therefore,combined with practical teaching,this paper,through the author's longterm exploration and exploration in teaching,starts from four aspects of music teaching,such as "rhythm,lyrics,Song Emotion,compositio n and performancee It is proved through practice that the use of dance limb movements in music teaching can not only enrich the course content,stimulate students,interest in le aming,attract students to participate actively in the course learning To achieve the ideal teaching effect,but also can exercise the coordination of students'limbs,further activate students' imitation ability and creativity.
