The popularization of quality education makes people realize the importance of music teaching.The three major elements of music are rhythm,melody and harmony.This paper is mainly from the perspective of primary school teachers.Firstly,it briefly summarizes the historical background and current situation of music teaching.Secondly,it analyzes the reform direction of primary school music classroom after carrying out practical research and consulting a large number of literature and books.Finally,it combines the characteristics of primary school students to conduct primary school music teaching and dance This paper studies the integration of dance gesture,hoping to have more inspiration in primary school music teaching and provide help for the smooth development of music teaching and related activities.Most of them are based on dalcroz's "rhythm teaching method" and Orff's music teaching method.Using these two teaching methods can effectively combine music courses with dance gestures,and better impart content knowledge to students.
