In recent years,as a new educational concept and education model,STEAM education has been recognized and highly valued by all countries in the world.It is in line with the understanding of education and learning.It emphasizes the scientific literacy,technical ability,engineering ideology,artistic expression and mathematical thinking of students in the new era,aiming at cultivating compound talents with 21 st century capabilities in the context of economic globalization.China is also paying more and more attention to cultivating innovative spirit and practical talents.In addition,China has started in STEAM education later than European and American countries.Therefore,what we need to do is to carefully examine the current situation of China's science curriculum on the basis of absorbing foreign excellent experience.Based on this,localization research is carried out.With the help of the theoretical research on STEAM education,the author first analyzes the scientific themes of the two-class teacher's book in Shandong Province and Qingdao City from the perspective of STEAM to understand the implementation of STEAM education in the current preschool education curriculum.Secondly,using the STEAM concept,combined with the kindergarten "autumn" and "winter" theme,a single-sample quasi-experimental study of children's inquiry learning was carried out,and the children's inquiry case activities under the STEAM concept were implemented to analyze the learning effects of children.Provide a reference for staff engaged in early childhood.The research conclusions are as follows:First,through coding,the knowledge points of the two teachers' books are distributed in five major areas: science,technology,engineering,art and mathematics,but the distribution is uneven.The textbooks pay more attention to the value of information and art;mainly based on knowledge and experience.core.Second,three different levels of early childhood cases,after two months of participating in the STEAM concept of inquiry activities,their level of inquiry ability has improved,children's interest is high,the teacher with the class to use the STEAM concept for researchers The effect of the implementation of the inquiry activity is recognized.Third,practice shows that the implementation of the STEAM concept of inquiry activities should follow five principles: focus on the "problem" center,discipline integration;teacher companionship,full inquiry;encourage trial and error,reflect on practice.At the same time,we must also meet the supportive conditions for early childhood inquiry,including the support of teachers for teachers,the support of teachers for children's inquiry,and the professional support of curriculum developers for teachers.
