| Since 2015,the Ministry of Education has issued a policy to explore STEAM education.The high school physics curriculum standards point out that it is necessary to guide students to discover and find problems from the surrounding actual environment,abstract the problems found,and build corresponding physical models for exploration activities.This in turn solves problems and transfers and applies the experience and knowledge gained in everyday life.As a basic subject for high school students,physics courses should not only focus on the teaching of scientific knowledge and the cultivation of skills,but also on the cultivation of students’ scientific research ability,innovative consciousness and scientific spirit,which is consistent with the STEAM education philosophy.Firstly,the research on STEAM educational philosophy and scientific inquiry is reviewed.By reviewing the literature on STEAM education at home and abroad,this paper sorts out the origin and development of STEAM education,summarizes the research status of the integration of STEAM education and physics teaching,and provides theoretical guidance for the teaching model of the integration of STEAM concepts and scientific inquiry.Then,combined with teaching experts and front-line teachers,after many teaching discussions,a scientific and perfect STEAM-based scientific inquiry model was constructed from the perspective of teaching and scientific research.Secondly,construct a scientific inquiry-based teaching model that incorporates the STEAM concept.Drawing on the scientific inquiry-oriented "5E" teaching model,it analyzes the theoretical basis and principles of "5E" inquiry teaching under the STEAM concept,and constructs a scientific"5E" inquiry teaching model that incorporates the STEAM concept.Exactly,the corresponding cases are designed based on the "5E" inquiry-based teaching mode based on the STEAM concept.Integrate the STEAM educational concept with scientific inquiry,analyze the high school physical science inquiry activities that can be integrated with the STEAM concept,design a curriculum with interdisciplinary integration of inquiry activities,and carry out teaching practice.Finally,case implementation and effect analysis.This research uses the STEAM scientific inquiry activity self-evaluation scale,the STEAM scientific inquiry activity work evaluation scale,and teacher interviews to comprehensively collect and analyze information from different perspectives.Innovative spirit,cooperation ability and practical ability play a certain role.To sum up,this research is a preliminary exploration of integrating the STEAM education concept with the "5E" inquiry mode and applying it to high school physics teaching.In the process of implementation,problems are found,analyzed and solved,and new ideas under this mode are proposed.The purpose of this study is to provide a new perspective for classroom teaching for first-line high school physics teachers. |
