The rumination is that the individual repeatedly and passively thinks about the reasons,facts,results and emotions of his own experience after facing negative events.It has an adverse effect on the individual's emotional and mental health.Social anxiety refers to the negative emotional experience of anxiety,anxiety,fear and other anxiety that occurs when an individual is about to face or is undergoing social activities.Junior high school students are in the early stages of puberty and are an important period for the formation of outlook on life and the development of mental health.Rumination and social anxiety tend to have an adverse effect on their development.This study combines previous research theories to study the level of rumination and social anxiety in junior high school students,the differences between rumination and social anxiety in terms of gender and grade,and the correlation between the two.Through the design of mental health education curriculum,the intervention of junior high school students' defensive thinking and social anxiety.The entire study used the rumination scale and the Communication Anxiety Scale(IAS)to conduct the first test and collect data for 682 junior high school students in two junior high schools in Laixi County,Qingdao,Shandong Province.The first test was divided into the experimental group and the control group by the relative average of the class.After the intervention of the experimental group,the experimental group and the control group were tested and data were collected.Using SPSS 19.0 to analyze the paper data,the following conclusions are obtained:Study 1: Junior high school students have higher levels of social anxiety and rumination,and there are significant differences between gender and grade.The level of social anxiety and rumination of girls is higher than that of boys.The level of social anxiety and rumination of second-year students is higher than that of first-year students.There is a significant difference between gender and grade in reflecting deep thinking.Symptoms of rumination and forced meditation do not differ significantly between gender and grade.There is a significant correlation between the social anxiety of junior high school students and the level of ruling thinking.Study 2: Intervention of junior high school students' defensive thinking level by setting a targeted mental health education course can effectively reduce the level of social anxiety and rumination of junior high school students.
