Social anxiety is unreasonable and excessive fears for interpersonal interaction and self-performance in social situations,which is embodied as strong nervousness,emotional experience distress,and avoid social interaction behavior.When develops to some extent,social anxiety will turn to be social anxiety disorder.It has become a prominent problem in children and teenagers.The average age of onset of social anxiety is between 14 and 16 years old,and the social anxiety level of senior high school students shows a significant upward trend.Therefore,it is very important to pay attention to the current situation of social anxiety in high school students and explore the variables that may influence it,such as perfectionism,rumination and the mechanism of interaction between variables,which provides a new entry point for the intervention of social anxiety in high school students.The study was divided into two parts.In the first study,paper questionnaires were distributed in two high schools in Nanning and one high school in Hengyang.The purpose of this study is to investigate the current characteristics of perfectionism,rumination and social anxiety in high school students,and to investigate the relationship between perfectionism,rumination and social anxiety in high school students,especially the mediating role of rumination in perfectionism and social anxiety.In the second study,positive rumination training was conducted on high school students with social anxiety in the form of group counseling.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)The current characteristics of high school students' perfectionism,rumination and social anxiety are as follows: high level of positive perfectionism,lower level of negative perfectionism,positive perfectionism tendency is more obvious than negative perfectionism tendency;The tendency of positive rumination is more obvious than that of negative rumination,and negative rumination is lower than middle level.The overall social anxiety level of high school students is slightly lower than average,but it has increased compared to previous studies;(2)The relationship among perfectionism,rumination and social anxiety on high school students: positive perfectionism is positively correlated with positive rumination,and negative rumination is negatively correlated with negative rumination,but not with social anxiety.Negative perfectionism is negatively correlated with positive rumination and positively correlated with social anxiety.Positive rumination is negatively correlated with social anxiety.Negative perfectionism,negative rumination and social anxiety are positively correlated with each other;(3)Positive rumination plays a partially mediating role in the relationship between negative perfectionism and social anxiety.High school students' negative rumination also plays a partial mediating role in the relationship between negative perfectionism and social anxiety;(4)Positive rumination training has different intervention effects on high and low social anxiety groups.According to the research conclusions,the following educational suggestions are proposed:(1)Focus on social adjustment problems of freshmen and improve the mental health curriculum of senior one;(2)Set up positive rumination training elective course to cultivate positive coping ability;(3)Broaden the publicity vision of mental health knowledge and promote home-school co-education.
