Research On The Selection System Of The "Ministry Edition" Junior Middle School Chinese Textbooks Under The "iceberg Model" Perspective

Han Xueping,a Chinese scholar,put forward the "iceberg model" of language literacy based on the "iceberg model of competence" of psychologist McClellan.Compared with the textbooks of the PEP(People's Education Press Text books),the junior high school Chinese textbooks,which are called PME(the teaching materials Prepared by Ministry of Education),have great differences and breakthroughs.The textbooks of the PME edition emphasize the comprehensive and systematic training of students' language literacy.It has a similar relationship with the "iceberg model" of language literacy.From the perspective of the "iceberg model",it is worthy of further study to explore the selection system of the textbooks of the PME edition for the development of students' language literacy.This paper uses various research methods to show the similarities and differences between the selection system of the textbooks of the PME edition and the PEP edition,and summarizes the progress in the overall construction of language literacy and the current status of the use of the PME edition.Through this research,we explore the application of the "iceberg model" of language literacy to the practice of Chinese teaching,and provide reference for the use of the textbooks of the PME edition.The selection system of the textbooks of the PME edition reflects the "iceberg model" of language literacy.It is concluded that the PME edition attaches great importance to the comprehensive training of students' implicit and explicit learning ability,and to the cultivation of students' "Chinese basic knowledge" and "Chinese basic ability",which is conducive to the students' Chinese knowledge system.The use of the PME edition should be comprehensively combined with the "iceberg model" of language literacy,cultivate the various levels of elements in the "iceberg model",and achieve the teaching goal of comprehensively constructing students' language literacy.Through the study of the selection system of the PME edition and the "iceberg model" of language literacy,it is helpful for the effective use of the textbooks compiled by the Ministry,thus promoting the progress and reform of Chinese teaching.
