Language teaching material selection is the most direct factors about the quality of the teaching material,as the rise of the social degree of attention to the students’ learning,curriculum reform puts in,what kind of articles should be included in the language teaching material being a major concern.People’s education press has the largest number user of teaching material,having greater influence in the country,its teaching quality will have a big impact to students.Beijing normal university press materials,relying on Beijing normal university,form there own characteristics.The author through the two sets of teaching materials selection system layout,selection capacity and selected article genre,selection and selection of subjects of analyses and compares the two sets of teaching materials,and accordingly puts forward suggestions for improvement.The arterial includes introduction,text and epilogue three parts. Text has five chapters.The first chapter is the comparative analysis of layout system,and two sets of textbooks are the arrangement of unit for the unit,but schools being teaching unit theme is not so perfect.The second chapter chooses the comparative analysis of capacity,according to the selected article length of comparative analysis,drawing the conclusion.The third chapter is the comparison of selected text genre analysis,from the poetry prose,fiction,drama literature four types of literature and narrative,exposition and argument,practical writing four practical genre,seeing the articles in the aspect of genre.The forth chapter selected article is the subject of comparative analysis,according to the analysis of selected article summarized selection used type subject matter.The fifth chapter is the selection of the era of comparative analysis,according to the age of divided into prose and spring,comparing the difference between the selected article era,where the proportion of the classic and language.The last part is epilogue,overview of two sets of teaching materials selection system and perfecting some suggestions.
