Culture is the sum of material wealth and spiritual wealth created by human beings with their wisdom and efforts in the process of social development.Nowadays,culture has become the spiritual necessity of human life.With the further promotion and deepening of the kindergarten curriculum reform,the concept of local culture has been repeatedly put forward and attached importance to by the central document.Suzhou Jiangnan area around the Tai Hu lake has a large number of rich and profound folk culture resources,which contains rich educational value for children.This study was to explore theory and practice of integrating Wu culture into kindergarten curriculum,the main research methods are observation and interview,took Suzhou industrial park Y kindergarten in as an example.Observe the present situation of integrate Wu culture resources into the kindergarten curriculum,analysis problems and reasons,observe of teacher's curriculum planning and design,and start the related practice activities.First of all,this study explains and defines the core concepts of Wu culture,kindergarten curriculum and local culture curriculum resources,sorts out the relevant research results of local culture and kindergarten curriculum,and the enlightenment of these results on this study.At the same time,this study starts from the generation theory of preschool curriculum,humanistic learning theory and other related theories to clarify that it provides a theoretical basis for integrating Wu culture resources into kindergarten curriculum,and discusses the value of integrating Wu culture into kindergarten curriculum.Secondly,this study mainly uses interview method,observation method and other research methods to investigate the reality of Suzhou Industrial Park Y kindergarten how to integrating culture into kindergarten curriculum.The results showed that the kindergarten did not pay enough attention to the development and utilization of Wu culture,teachers' awareness of curriculum resource development was weak,and children's understanding of Wu culture was fragmentary and superficial.Thirdly,based on the above survey results and the problems found,this study carried out a relatively systematic planning and design of Wu cultural resources integrated into kindergarten curriculum,and discussed the basis for the selection of Wu cultural resources integrated into kindergarten curriculum,the selection of curriculum resource content and the setting of theme objectives.Subsequently,this study took Suzhou Industrial Park Y kindergarten as the object of case study,conducted a one-semester study on Wu culture's integration into kindergarten curriculum,and carried out practical exploration of three Wu culture themed activities.Finally,summarize the research results.Through participating in relevant practical activities,children,teachers and researchers have made certain progress and improvement in all aspects.At the same time,it also reflects on the shortcomings of the research and puts forward suggestions for further development and utilization of Wu cultural resources,so as to provide thinking direction for the follow-up research.
