The key to the development of rural education is rural teachers.In recent years,The Party Central Committee and the State Council have successively issued a series of policies.The living conditions of rural teachers have been greatly improved,but the problems of letting them “remain” and “teaching well” still exist.What is the living status of primary school teachers living in rural areas? How to improve its living dilemma? This paper presents the real living state of rural primary school teachers by means of narrative research.On this basis,it analyzes the living conditions of rural teachers and proposes feasible suggestions on how to improve the living dilemma of rural teachers.Three teachers in Z Elementary School are selected as subjects in order to investigate their living conditions from their professional life and leisure life.The researcher collects materials of teachers' life in the natural situation through on-the-spot observation,in-depth interviews,diary of life,and organizes the articles in comprehensive description and concrete narrative.The researcher analyzes the research data from two aspects.this paper pays attention to the individual differences of teachers' living conditions,and pays more attention to the investigation of the common problems of teachers' living conditions.This article also pays attention to how rural teachers deal with the relationship between professional life and leisure life.On this basis,this paper explains and analyzes the research findings by means of relevant theories and research literature,and finally extracts relevant conclusions.According to the survey results,we found that the teachers' professional life become weaker and weaker.There are three different occupational life states in the rural teacher group: the status quo,the abandonment of the struggle;the surpassing the victory;the waiting for an opportunity and moving.And we also found that the leisure life of rural teachers is busy and single.Teachers' leisure life is separated from the professional development of teachers.The leisure time of teachers is mainly used for part-time and sideline activities,and leisure activities are single.Based on the research findings and combined with relevant research literature,this paper makes an in-depth discussion on the living status of rural primary school teachers,and puts forward improvement strategies from three aspects of policy,school management and teachers themselves.In terms of policies,we will raise the wages of rural teachers,improve the learning environment for rural teachers and implement professional title policy better.In terms of school management,school administrators should consciously organize the extracurricular activities for teachers,and it can help teacher set up their own spare life.School administrators can create conditions for teachers' professional growth.And it can promote the corporation of family.For example,headmaster promote cooperation between rural schools.Headmaster also can attach importance to the construction of local culture courses and help rural teachers integrate local culture into classroom teaching.Personal aspects of teachers,Firstly,rural teachers should take the initiative to learn to promote their professional ability.Secondly,teachers learn to regulate themselves.Finally,rural teachers should improve their sense of professional belonging,and increase sense of belonging.In order to improve the living conditions of rural teachers,we should pay attention to the professional life of rural teachers,especially the professional identity of teachers and the recognition of the working environment.Not only that,we also should concern the quality of leisure life of teachers,especially the impact of leisure life on professional life.
