With the unprecedented rapid development of tennis in our country's colleges and universities,tennis lessons in vocational colleges around the country have gradually gained popularity.Physical education curriculum has a certain amount of exercise and exercise intensity,so the traditional lack of interactive classroom teaching can not adapt to the students' physiological and psychological development.At present,in the teaching of tennis lessons,teachers take a split approach to tennis teaching and lack coherence.This approach can easily lead to fatigue of students.At the same time,the meaning of tennis can not be truly grasped,thus losing the enthusiasm for learning.It will eventually lead to a decline in student participation and the effectiveness of tennis teaching will be greatly affected.Therefore,in the process of carrying out tennis teaching,students should actively guide their interest in learning tennis and innovate the teaching mode of tennis.This is an important area that physical education teachers should actively explore.In this paper,literature teaching,questionnaire survey,teaching experiment,and mathematical statistics were used to test 80 students in two classes of Zhongshan Vocational and Technical College in 2016.The game teaching method was applied to tennis teaching in higher vocational colleges.Among them,and to test their effects,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The integration of game teaching into the teaching of tennis courses can significantly improve students' mastery of basic tennis techniques.At the end of one semester,the scores of both groups of students have been improved,but the results in the experimental group are better than those in the control group.In the same half hand throwing test,there were significant differences between the two groups of students in terms of the up-to-back and backhand technical standards and movement assessment,that is,the experimental group students scored better than the control group scores.In the multi-ball test using rackets,there were very significant differences between the two groups of students in terms of the up-to-back and backhand skills.There were significant differences between the two groups of students in the evaluation of the forward and backhand strokes.That is,students in the experimental group scored better than those in the control group.There are no significant differences between the two groups of students in termsof standards for serving techniques and assessment of movement.Although there is no significant difference between the two in terms of serve,the average number of successful serve and performance assessment in the experimental group are greater than those in the control group.That is,the serving score of the experimental group is better than that of the control group.(2)The game teaching method effectively stimulates the students' interest in learning,enhances the students' motivation for learning tennis skills,and enhances their participation.The average scores of tennis participation,tennis attention,tennis interest and autonomy and inquiry learning were significantly higher than those of the control group,while the negative interest of the control group in tennis learning was higher than that of the experimental group.That is,the experimental group students are better than the control group in the dimension of interest.(3)The game teaching method has no obvious effect on the improvement of students' physical fitness.There is no significant difference in physical fitness between the two groups of students.(4)The game teaching method can effectively guide students to achieve their learning goals.After the implementation of the game teaching method,students will pay more attention to the sport itself and interest in learning,instead of blindly attaching importance to test scores,ignoring the essence of learning and the original intention of the exercise.(5)The game teaching method can promote tennis theory knowledge well.There are significant differences between the two groups of students in the theoretical dimension of tennis.That is to say,the experimental students' mastery of tennis theory is better than that of the control group.
