The ability to recognize geometric figure is the core element of learning geometric knowledge,and it is very important to cultivate students' spatial imagination ability and spatial concept.Paying attention to developing the students'ability of space imagination and geometric intuition not only is both the implementation the needs of the development of the curriculum and meet the curriculum standard of the request of training students' ability,but also is adapt to the needs of social development.It is well known that junior Grade Two is the key to the geometry learning period,This paper make an effort for improve students'ability to recognise geometric figures through understanding the development status of the junior Grade Two students' ability to recognize geometric figure,analysing the problems in the teaching of geometric graphics and puting forward the cultivation principles,suggestions and strategies of geometric figures.The paper mainly studies the following questions:The development current situation of the student's ability to recognize geometric figuret;The problems existing in the cultivation process of the junior high school students'ability to recognize geometric figure;The principle and strategy of developing the geometric graphics ability of junior high school students.Firstly,the concept of "geometric figure" and " The ability to recognize geometric figure " is defined in this paper.Secondly the research status of geometric figures is sorted out.Meanwhile,It summarize the research status of geometric figure.Secondly,It takes the Jiangsu version textbook as an example to unscramble the related content of the geometric figure in curriculum standard.This paper through the questionnaire of teachers and students to understand the main ways of cultivating the ability to recognize geometric figure in junior middle school mathematics classroom teachingand the problems that exist in the ability to recognize geometric figure training process.Furthermore,This paper investigates 140 students from fifty-four of Nanjing city from different aspects that include the geometric figure transform ability of students,the analysis ability of the geometric figure relationship between the quantity and location,the ability of decomposing basic graphic from complex graphics,the transforming ability of view and figure each other and the ability of geometric figure size and position sense.This paper puts forward strategies and principles for training geometric figures after collating and analyzing the results of the survey:And this paper appliesthese strategies and principles to reality through designing cases.The main conclusions obtained in this paper are as follows.(1)It is difficult for most students to analyze and reasoning the quantitative relationship and location relationship in more complex geometry.The students' ability to analyze and reasoning needs to be improved.(2)The students'normalization current situation of solving geometry problems are not consistent with the requirements of teachers.The normalization of teachers'drawing needs further improvemen in normal mathematics classroom teaching.(3)Students lack the ability to explore the rule of geometric figure.Students lack the understanding of the inherent laws of geometric figures.Based on the above research results,The following suggestions are made in this article.(2)In normal teaching,teachers should pay attention to the transformation practice of the three languages,effectively guide the reasoning methods,and further strengthen effective training.(2)Teachers need to further implement their own norms in the ordinary course of teaching.Teachers should not only express the importance of norms,do demonstrations for students,but also give practical guidance to students'norms.(3)In teaching,teachers should pay attention to students' deep experience of geometric figures.And they also should grasp the essence of graphic knowledge and grasp the essence of graphic rules.
