Research On The Status Quo And Countermeasures Of Life Education For Senior High School Students In Zhaoqing

Life is precious,but also is short and impermanent.Our attitude towards life and the life values that we hold are the guide of our daily behaviour.Nowadays,in China,because of the influence of examination-oriented education,high school students generally have to bear great learning pressure and their minds are not mature.Facing the enormous pressure from study,they are prone to have pessimistic and even negative emotion,and some high school students have the behavior of ignoring the life.So it is very necessary and urgent for high school to carry out life education.Life education is a relatively new topic and also the content that a great many scholars and experts show concern about.After analysing the study and achievements made by scholars and experts from home and abroad,the author had a deep understanding on the current situation,the definition,the content and the ways of life education,and then made a questionnaire of life education and the situation of high school students.In this paper,based on the practical investigation on high school students from three Schools in ZhaoQing,the author tried to understand the meaning of life and the situation of carrying out life education by analyzing questionnaire surveys and interviews.The problems are as follows: the content of life education is single and the life state of high school students is not good enough;teachers lack the concept of life education;high schools don't pay enough attention to students' life education and the methods of life education are not diversity.Then the author analyzed the reasons from the aspects of students,teachers and schools,and then put forward some strategies and countermeasures: to enrich the content of life education;to improve teachers' quality of education;to change the management concept of school education managers and diversify life education methods.
