| As a developing country,India established a democratic system as early as the early 1950 s,and implemented specific basic political systems,such as the universal suffrage system,the parliamentary system,and the multi-party competition system.However,for a long time,India’s political development has not yet shaken off the shackles of the authoritarian system.The Congress Party headed by the Nehru family firmly grasps the political resources of the country,and the multiparty system is only a nominal form.In the 1990 s,India’s democratic politics was developed,multi-party competition became a reality,and various political forces competed and compromised each other in the political arena,which constituted a unique political ecology;the political participation of the society expanded and the democratic system further The perfection reflects the progress of democratic politics during this period.Exploring the factors influencing the development of democratic politics in this period must be considered from the international and domestic dimensions.On the one hand,domestic modernization has laid a solid foundation for the in-depth development of democratization.On the other hand,the process of globalization has accelerated.It has also made India’s democratization go deep into the tide of the world.On the whole,Indian democracy has shown a development trend.There may be uncertainties in the future of Indian democracy,but it should be seen that its democratic system has shown its effectiveness and vitality,and the democratization of India will continue to advance. |
