Research On The Response Mechanism Of Local Government Network Public Opinion

With the popularity of internet and rapid development of information technology in recent years,internet has become one of the indispensable tools used by residents.It not only helps public make timely comments,but also serve as “compass” for online comments and communication,thus internet public opinions emerge.J District Government is responsible for social management work,the government always confronts with a variety of social contradictory events.If it doesn't give timely or properly response to public opinion about emergencies,it will probably trigger internet public opinion crises in large scale,then bring more serious social contradictory problems.Therefore,how to cope with internet public opinions is a significant challenge for J District Government.This paper adopted literature research method and case analysis method,collected and summarized features and problems of treatment to internet public opinion by J District Government,focused on analyzing difficulties in government's work.On the basis of analyses and summaries,this paper gave practical strategies and suggestions.At first,this study explained related concepts of internet public opinion by searching papers and related theories.Then analyzed current status of public opinion response work by J District Government,revealed that the government had developed the coping mechanism of network public opinion,was actively promoting establishment of fusion media foundation,emphasized on team building.After that,this study analyzed cases in recent years,tried to find weakness in internet public opinion treatment work by J District.Finally,this paper proposed four suggestions to overcome these shortcomings.The specific measures were as follows:the government could promote public crisis awareness,turning crisis into opportunity awareness,respect network public opinion consciousness,thus update its ideas of related work.The government could strengthen new media distribution matrix,network vocalization system,the authoritative role of mainstream media,so as to consolidate position construction.The government could establish monitoring and early warning mechanism,departmental linkage disposal mechanism,government information disclosure mechanism,thus deepen mechanism development in every aspects.The government could improve network public opinion monitoring and forecasting team capacity as well as role of government spokesman,and unite social network spokesman,to promote team building.
