| In recent years,the growth trend of the floating population in China has changed from a steady rise to a slow decline,but the number of the floating elderly is increasing.About 7.2percent of the total floating population is elderly,the number of displaced elderly people reached18 million.The group of the floating elderly has attracted the attention of various disciplines,while few research objects in the field of psychology directly involve the floating elderly.In this study,migrant elder were taken as the research object to analyze the differences between family environment and mental health of elderly people living with migrant workers in demographic factors such as gender,age,type of moving place,living time,etc.,to explore the relationship between family environment and mental health level of this group,and to investigate the mediating role of social support.Furthermore,some Suggestions are put forward to improve the family environment and mental health level of the old people.The study selected 203 old people who moved with them in five communities in Tianjin,including 57 males and 146 females.The subjects were measured by the family environment scale(FES-CV),life satisfaction scale(SWLS),loneliness scale(UCLA),general mental health questionnaire(GHQ-12),and social support rating scale(SRSS),and some subjects were interviewed.Through analysis,the following conclusions are drawn:1.There are significant differences between the mental health status and family environment in demographic factors such as educational level,whether the elderly are suffering from chronic diseases,occupation,type of moving place and living time.2.There was a significant correlation between family environment and mental health: the higher the intimacy,culture and entertainment of family environment,the higher the life satisfaction and the lower the loneliness and general mental health.3.Social support plays an intermediary role in the relationship between the family environment and mental health of the accompanying elderly.That is,the family environment will affect the social support and mental health of the elderly. |
