With the development of our country’s economy, the urban construction demand forlabor is increasing, and directly it results of the increasing of floating population, indirectlyled to the expansion of migrant children. Academic world pay more and more attention to theproblems of the floating children. In recent years, although the research on floating childrenhas constantly developed, but the results have not been unified. This study attempts toexplore the relationship among migrant children’s mental health, life satisfaction, and thesocial support.We adopted questionnaire survey and investigated171migrant children andthe matching164non-migrant children were, the main conclusions as following:(1) Overall migrant and non-migrant children’s mental health level is good, but themigrant children’s mental health level was significantly lower than the non-migrant children;among the migrant children the boy’s mental health level is significantly higher than girls, themental health level has no flowing time’s difference.(2) In terms of overall life satisfaction, between migrant children and non-migrantchildren has a significant difference,both of them are on the medium, but the floatingchildren is below average satisfaction; The satisfaction degree of the migrant children existdifferences between men and women, boys’ satisfaction degree significantly higher than girls;In addition flow time impact on life satisfaction of migrant children, the children of long flowtime group satisfaction was significantly higher than that of short flow time.(3) Migrant children’s social support was significantly lower than the non-migrantchildren; about the migrant children, there is no difference between men and women on socialsupport situation, but the score of long flow time group were significantly higher than that ofshort flow time group.(4) There was a significant negative correlation between migrant children’s lifesatisfaction and mental health; there was a significant negative correlation between socialsupport and mental health; there was a significant positive correlation between lifesatisfaction and social support.(5) Migrant children’s life satisfaction and social support can predict their mental health,and the life satisfaction can better predict their mental health.
