With the rapid development of China’s economy,there has been an international upsurge in learning Chinese.In Ukraine,more and more people like to learn Chinese,and more and more universities attach importance to Chinese teaching.On the basis of a general introduction of Chinese teaching in Ukrainian universities,this thesis firstly analyzes the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and risks of Chinese teaching in Ukrainian universities by SWOT analysis.Then thesis takes the Dnepropetrovsk State University of Ukraine as an example to make a concrete study of the Chinese teaching situation.By means of questionnaires and interviews,this thesis obtains the "first-hand" data of the current Chinese teaching in the school.Through the in-depth analysis of the results of the questionnaire and the comparison with those of private schools,the problems and shortcomings are found,and then the countermeasures and suggestions for improving the level of Chinese language teaching are put forward for Dnipropetrovsk National University and Ukrainian universities.The main content of this thesis is the situation of Chinese teaching in Ukrainian universities,including students’ motivation in learning Chinese,Chinese teachers,Chinese teaching materials,teaching level and curriculum setting and so on.This thesis mainly takes Dnipropetrovsk National University in Ukraine as the research object,and investigates its teachers and students.At the same time,in order to understand the situation of Chinese teaching in Ukrainian colleges and universities more comprehensively,a few Chinese training schools are selected to make a comparison.Based on the analysis of the questionnaire of Dnipropetrovsk State University,the thesis finds that there are problems on term of curriculum,students’ exchanges abroad,Chinese teachers and teaching facilities in Ukrainian universities.For this reason,Ukrainian universities should adjust the curriculum,strengthen exchanges with students in Chinese universities,increase the opportunities for students to study in China,actively seek Chinese resources to support and increase the number of Chinese teachers.Ukrainian universities and Chinese teachers should constantly communicate,cooperate with each other and work together to solve current problems.This thesis mainly uses questionnaire survey,SWOT analysis and literature research methods to carry out research.The research in this thesis can enrich the research on Chinese language teaching in Ukrainian universities,and the questionnaire survey on Chinese language teaching in Dnipropetrovsk National University can provide a reference for future scholars’ research;the research in this thesis has certain reference significance for Ukrainian universities,especially Dnipropetrovsk National University,to improve Chinese language teaching,and it is also very helpful for me to engage in Chinese language teaching in Ukraine in the future. |
