| Vocabulary is extremely important part of the language. Vocabulary is aninformation carrier, if the learner failed to master necessary amount of words, hewon’t be able to express the proper meaning and as a result will no be able to performa social intercourse. For this reason, teaching and learning vocabulary plays crucialrole in teaching and learning foreign languages. As Chinese and Ukrainian languagesare two etymologically very different languages, so for the Ukrainian people Chineselanguage is very difficult for learning. Vocabulary is one of the three key elements oflanguage, along with grammar and pronunciation and teaching vocabulary is asignificant part of teaching Chinese as a second language. The most part of often-usedwords is learnt in the beginners and intermediate groups. Teaching vocabulary fromdifferent aspects as pronunciation, semantics, collocations etc is very important forachieving a good result in learning vocabulary process. The topic of this thesis paper“Teaching Chinese language vocabulary for Ukrainian adult beginners†as an objectof the research consider teaching methods, techniques and approaches, with aresuitable for teaching Chinese language for Ukrainian adult beginner learners,according to principle of systematization, of succession, communicative and cultureprinciple. I do hope the subject of this work would be useful as a reference andadditional material for those who is concerned with teaching Chinese language forforeigners and especially for those who teach for Ukrainian adult beginners. |
