Because of the complex relationship of phonetic meaning,polyphonic characters have always been one of the difficulties in the acquisition of international students and teachers ' teaching,and it is often difficult for students to grasp the multiple phonetic items of polyphonic characters and the corresponding meanings when they acquire them,and to create confusion.Therefore,from the point of view of teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages.this paper examines the polyphonic characters acquisition of foreign students,analyzes the causes of errors caused by international students in the process of acquisition,and puts forward some suggestions for polyphonic characters teaching,hoping to provide reference for teachers ' polyphonic characters teaching work,which is helpful to the polyphonic characters acquisition of international students.This article is divided into five chapters,the first chapter introduces the reasons for the topic,the significance of the study,as well as the research content and research methods,and summarizes the relevant research in the academic circles.The second chapter of the polyphonic characters teaching in the primary stage of the polyphonic characters statistics,the statistical object is mainly "Chinese primary intensive course"and other three sets of Chinese international primary stage teaching materials in the polyphonic characters,as well as 2015 version of the HSK vocabulary outline(level 1-4)in the common polyphonic characters.The third chapter investigates the teaching and acquisition of polyphonic characters by means of interviews and questionnaires.In the fourth chapter,the investigation results are analyzed,and the causes of polyphonic characters errors of international students are analyzed from the angle of polyphonic characters characteristics,negative transfer of target language,teaching and textbook.The fifth chapter,based on the research results,puts forward some specific teaching Suggestions for the teaching of polyphonic characters in the primary stage,such as laying a good phonetic foundation,teaching according to the characteristics of polyphonic characters,arranging polyphonic characters in stages and setting up special exercises after class,so as to help foreign students acquire polyphonic characters correctly.
