The basic strokes are the"foundation"of Chinese character strokes.The roles of importance and fundamentality played in Chinese characters structure are self-evident.But "basic" does not mean simple and easy to understand.Firstly,Chinese characters teaching should adequately master the basic strokes,then take advantage the fact that they're "Foundation of derivative Stroke",and actively build the correlation between the similar stroke shape.At the same time,paying attention to screening and selection on Chinese characters used for teaching and textbooks,so as to make Chinese characters teaching more flexible and effective.The thesis is divided into five parts.The first part introduced purpose and significance of the research,then explained the ontology research of modern Chinese characters strokes and current development and situation of Chinese characters stroke teaching research,and also researched on previous works and summarized,especially on the definition and statistics of basic strokes,so as to lay the theoretical basis for the thesis.The second part,took the book The Graded Chinese Syllables,Characters and Words for the Application of Teaching Chinese to the Speakers of Other Languages as a corpus basis,split 900 primary Chinese characters directing at basic strokes and collate related statistic dates.This part is divided into four sections,surrounded by statistics and analysis on "basic strokes of conventional items" and "basic strokes of involvement degree","sequence ranking and analysis on the type of basic strokes they covered","basic Chinese characters containing basic strokes only".This chapter mainly used the qualitative and quantitative research methods,revealed "basic and important"position of "basic strokes" in the form of Chinese characters.Then,paved the way for the following discussion about value of basic strokes in actual teaching.The third part selected two primary Chinese characters textbooks,mainly analyzed through the design of teaching contents of strokes(teaching arrangement,specific design),Characters' screening(strokes volume per class,Characters' capacity,example Characters' feature),exercises arrangement(amount,nature,types and amount of stroke and stroke order exercises)these three aspects.Acquire merits of these two primary Chinese characters textbooks,also put forward the corresponding opinions and suggestions.The fourth part is on the basis of former three parts,put forward some advice and suggestions on the teaching of basic strokes.In respect of teaching,we must firmly grasp the distribution of basic strokes,correlation between basic strokes and additional strokes,and also attach importance to Chinese characters screening for teaching;As for textbooks,we should pay attention to selection and usage of them and utilize them flexible,according to different teaching types and teaching objectives.The fifth part is the summary of the whole thesis.
