Research On The "Lift The Yellow Bar" Folklore Performance Communication From The Perspective Of Ritual Communication

In the cultural research orientation of communication,James Carey proposed the concept of "ritual communication".Carey believed that communication is a metaphor of ritual,and communication can be understood as "a sacred ritual that draws people together in a group or a common identity".From the perspective of "ritual view of communication",this paper analyzes and interprets the communication process of the folk performance project "carrying the yellow bar",which is popular in Hebei province.This paper deconstructs the communication ceremony of "carrying the yellow bars" performance,and analyzes the content of the "carrying the yellow bars"performance from three aspects:the communication subject,the communication environment and the communication carrier.This shows the significance of the ritual communication of "carrying the yellow bars"for the relationship between local villagers,village relations and social stability.The folk communication of "carrying the yellow bars" is not only the sharing and transmission of information,but also a ritual of cultural sharing between people and villages.The introduction part of this paper expounds the research significance of this topic,defines the connotation and extension of basic concepts such as folk custom,ritual,ritual communication,and ritual concept of communication,and then proposes the research methods and innovation points of this paper.In the second chapter,the author introduces the general situation of this folk phenormenon.The natural environment,the concept of "carrying the yellow bars" and the historical origin of "carrying the yellow bars" are the vitality of this folk custom.In the third chapter,the author takes "raising the yellow bar" as a communication ritual to study,and studies the subject,environment and carrier in communication.In the fourth chapter,the author studies the function of the performance of"carrying the yellow bars" from the perspective of the concept of ritual communication,and studies the function of cultural sharing,time-space sharing,community,identity and the construction of the same world of "carrying the yellow bars" performance.In the fifth chapter,the author analyzes the dilemma of "carrying the yellow bars"performance.Due to a series of factors such as the rapid economic expansion,the intervention of new media and the improvement of education level,the performance of"raising the yellow bar" has encountered a series of difficulties in the communication process.In the sixth chapter,the author gives some Suggestions to solve the dilemma of ritualistic communication.From the perspective of the communication concept of ceremony,this study investigates the cultural connotation of the whole "carrying the yellow bars"communication,and deeply explores the ritualized function behind the "carrying the yellow bars" communication,which also provides a good opportunity for the author to study the communication of local folk customs.
