Digital Works Of Intangible Cultural Heritage Under Live Condition Records And Communication Research

Record plays an indispensable role in the preservation and record of intangible culture heritage. Its quality determines the credibility of its result, and only with high quality can the result of record be presented as the convincing evidence to demonstrate the inheritance of intangible culture heritage. In the era of digital technology, utilizing digital means to trace back the history and inherit culture can introduce new research methods to the line of record.This thesis, based on the experience gained through the record conducted in the Nanjing Scripture Engraving Place, not only aims to establish a theoretical framework for digital record and introduce the features of digital record with an attempts to study and discuss the form of digital record, but also provides practical means of conducting digital record as well as some constructive suggestions. The first and the second chapter analyze the current status of traditional record and digital record; the third chapter summarizes the expressive forms of digital record and communication based on practical experience; the fourth chapter provides the future perspective on the development of digital record. This thesis also explores the possibility of applying digital record and communication to the field of intangible culture heritage. In addition, new trends of thought will be provided for the further study.
