With the deepening of curriculum reform,English teaching pays more attention to the cultivation of communication ability in English.Oral English teaching has increasingly shown its importance. What's more, with the development of science and technology, the combination of education and technology has become inevitable. And the role of Computer-Assisted Language Learning in the field of education has become increasingly prominent.Based on the above background, the researcher uses empirical research methods to conduct a practical study of computer-assisted English teaching, aiming to verify the impact of CALL on junior high school students' oral English learning. The study lasted three months with 45 students as participants from a junior high school in Shandong Province. The study aimed to explore the impact of CALL on students' oral English learning, including the impact on the fluency, accuracy and complexity of their oral production, and the impact on students' learning attitudes.Research methods include experimental methods, text analysis methods, questionnaires, and interviews. The text analysis method is used to test the influence of CALL on the fluency, accuracy and complexity of oral expression.Questionnaire and interview are used to explore students' understanding of CALL and the influence of CALL on their learning attitude. The results show that CALL has a positive impact on the participants' oral production and attitude towards speaking.Specifically,1.CALL has a positive impact on the fluency of students' spoken English output. It is beneficial to reduce the number of pauses and repetitions of students' oral expression, and students can use the cohesive words to promote the smooth expression.2.CALL improves the accuracy of pronunciation of the students in the experimental class, but it is not good for grammatical accuracy.Grammatical errors mainly appear in the third person singular, noun singular and plural and passive voice.3.CALL is not beneficial to improve the syntactic complexity of students' oral expression.Students often use their own custom sentences and use simple sentences in the same topic. Therefore, there is no obvious improvement in sentence complexity.4.In terms of learning attitude, the application of CALL in oral English training stimulates students' enthusiasm for learning, promotes students' interest in learning English, and improves students' self-confidence in speaking English. This study has limitations such as short experimental period, small sample size, and strong subjective evaluation of spoken language.Nevertheless, the results of this study are basically in line with the expected research purposes, and it is hoped that the findings of this study can offer some reference to the practice of English teaching in junior high schools.
