Special Research On The Vocabulary Of Bing Xin's Works

After more than 80 years of his literary creation,Bing Xin has created a large number of outstanding works,including novels,poems,prose and other works.Her works were mainly vernacular or between the vernacular,classical Chinese and foreign language mixed works.The language of these works reflects to some extent the development and evolution of modern Chinese in the 20th century.Under the guidance of lexicology and linguistic theories,this article uses synchronic and diachronic methods,a combination of description and interpretation,and a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods to conduct a special study on the vocabulary of Bingxin's works.In order to summarize the features of modern Chinese vocabulary in different periods and study the history of modern Chinese.,vocabulary history to provide reference,we use letter words,reverse order words and alien words to try to explore the evolution of the vocabulary of Bing Xin's works through the study of the lexical items of Bing Xin's works,and then analyze the cultural and historical connotations behind the works by revealing typical representative letters.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this paper is divided into five chapters.The introduction mainly clarifies the reasons for this article and sorts out the research process and status quo of Bing Xin's works,and expounds the sources of the corpus,researches the methods and significance.The first chapter:introduces Bing Xin's creation stage and language view.Using history as a clue,Bing Xin's creation is divided into four periods:1919-1949,1950-1965,1966-1976,and 1977-1990.Bing Xin's language concept is embodied in translation standards that embody "truthfulness" that seeks to understand and pursue art and so on.Chapter two:expounds the evolution of Bing Xin's letters.This paper discusses the development and change of alphabetic words in Bing Xin's works from the aspects of the introduction of letter words,the number of words/words,the structure and degree of change,the distribution of semantics,and the features and evolution characteristics.The introduction of letter words mainly uses foreign original words,transliteration,free translation,and so on.The letter words in Bing Xin's works have experienced four stages:budding,development,stagnation and proliferation.Chapter three:expounds the evolution of Bing Xin's works.This paper discusses the development and evolution of Bingxin's works from the perspectives of the types,semantic distributions,frequency of use,and specifications of the different types of words.In Bing Xin's works,the variant words are dominated by congruent foreign-typed words.They appear most frequently in the first period and do not show a unified state.The second-and third-period miscellaneous words rarely appear;in the fourth period,the heterographs tend to be standardized.Chapter four:expounds the evolution of Bing Xin's reverse order words.The reversed words in Bing Xin's works mainly consist of verbs in the selection of the quantity of parts of speech,and there are few nouns and adjectives.The distribution of semantics has a long history.The reversed words in Bingxin's works are characterized by staggered use in the selection of parts of speech in the four periods,but they do not reflect certain regularities.However,in the normative change of modern Chinese as a whole,the reversed words in Bing Xin's works have generally developed in the direction of normalization.Chapter five:analyzes the reason why Bing Xin's work's vocabulary evolves over time.The characteristics of diachronic evolution of Bing Xin's works are mainly related to social historical changes in the past century and Bing Xin ' s life,study,and work experience.Moreover,the lagging of the development of standardized modern Chinese and the modernity,economy,graduality,and normativeness of modern Chinese.It also has an important influence on the diachronic evolution of Bing Xin's works.The innovation of this paper is the exhaustive statistics and research on the vocabulary of monographs,and the characteristics of diachronic evolution of modern Chinese.
