Research On The Protection And Utilization Countermeasures Of Chengjiang Fossil Land World Natural Heritage

World Heritage is a valuable asset that is rare and irreplaceable for mankind.The preservation of the authenticity and integrity of World Heritage and the sustainable use of it are the core of the global strategy for the protection of World Heritage.It is the common responsibility of the international community to protect the world heritage,and it is also an important responsibility of the government of the place where the heritage is located.Chengjiang Fossil Site in July 2012 was officially included in the "World Heritage List",became China's first fossil world natural heritage.After Chengjiang Fossil Site became a world heritage,visibility greatly increased,the number of tourists and scientific expeditionary personnel to grow rapidly.The local tourism and other industries have also been promoted.However,the present situation,the value of Chengjiang Fossil Site are not fully played.There are still a lot of problems in the protection and utilization of the Chengjiang Fossil Site.This situation is not in line with the higher requirements of UNESCO.It is of great significance to study how to scientifically protect and utilize the Chengjiang Fossil Site,because it is closely related to its future.The author uses the methods of literature analysis,field research,case analysis and comparative research,learning from domestic and foreign related research results.Based on the analysis of the value of Chengjiang Fossil Site and it's protection and utilization status,the problems of protection and utilization of Chengjiang Fossil Site were found out.Based on the theory of governance and the theory of sustainable development,the author puts forward some suggestions to strengthen the protection and utilization of Chengjiang Fossil Site.Those suggestions are:Speed up legislation and improve the quality of legislation,to establish a scientific and international system for the protection and use of the Chengjiang Fossil Site,broaden the sources of funds,improve the government's ability to supply public services,strengthen fossil protection,establish a scientific research platform and innovation in the form of popular science education,Enhance tourism grade,and promote the development of cultural and creative industries.
