Objective: The quality of education is not only the focus of students,teachers and educational institutions,but also the focus of the whole society.In view of the current situation that the research on the relationship between student teacher interaction and education quality is not in-depth,this study aims to reveal the relationship between student teacher interaction and undergraduate education quality and quantify the correlation between them.In the process of the research,the quantitative indicators of education quality and the interaction between students and teachers were selected,and the correlation between them was analyzed.Through the targeted analysis of the educational characteristics of Beijing University of Chinese medicine,this paper puts forward the strategies to promote the interaction between students and teachers,and provides different references for improving the educational quality of traditional Chinese medicine colleges.Methods: Based on the full investigation of the research status at home and abroad,this study defines the relevant concepts and uses the existing historical survey data of China College Student Survey(CCSS)questionnaire as the basis.Taking the undergraduate students of Beijing University of Chinese medicine as the research object,we selected and justified the relevant indicators to measure the quality of education,and analyzed the relevant survey data of Beijing University of Chinese medicine in 2012,2013,2014 and 2016.The Pearson correlation test was carried out to check the correlation between the interaction between teachers and students and the education quality.To carry out the horizontal comparison of Student-Faculty Interaction(SFI)scores among different colleges and the vertical comparison of Student-Faculty Interaction(SFI)scores between different years,to illustrate the relationship between students teachers interaction and education quality.Through the analysis of the development history and education mode of traditional Chinese medicine colleges and universities,the characteristics and problems of the interaction between students and teachers in traditional Chinese medicine colleges and universities are obtained,and the promotion strategies are put forward based on the analysis of data.Results: It is found that there is a positive correlation between student teacher interaction and academic performance,curriculum learning process,extended learning process,self-education harvest,school satisfaction,total quality of education and other indicators that can represent the quality of education.And the data shows that the more dependent on the former,the higher the student teacher interaction score.In addition,the scores of student teacher interaction in different colleges for several consecutive years show that the trend between the scores of student teacher interaction and learning process indicators is basically the same,which proves the positive correlation between student teacher interaction and education quality from the side,so in order to improve the quality of education,we need to vigorously promote student teacher interaction.In addition,although higher education of traditional Chinese medicine has great advantages in education scale and standardized education,there are also some deficiencies in the promotion of students' motivation and the vividness of teaching forms,which leads to unsatisfactory depth and breadth of interaction between students and teachers.Therefore,it is necessary to stimulate the motivation of interaction between students and teachers,enhance the emotional communication between students and teachers,broaden the effective way of interaction between students and teachers,and promote the frequency and breadth of interaction between students and teachers through rich teaching forms,such as small class teaching,the use of Internet,smart phone applications and other modern teaching methods.Conclusion: Student-faculty interaction is positively correlated with the quality of education,that is,the better the interaction between students and teachers,the higher the quality of education.In order to improve the quality of education,various effective methods and strategies should be adopted to promote student-faculty interaction.There are some common deficiencies;through the targeted promotion strategy can provide useful reference for improving the quality of education in traditional Chinese medicine colleges and universities.
