Purpose:To observe and evaluate the clinical effect of MEBO in promoting wound healing after perianal abscess operation, and to explore the effectiveness and advantages of MEBO in promoting wound healing after perianal abscess operation,so as to provide objective basis for its application in postoperative wound healing of anorectal diseases.Material and method:From March 2018 to March 2019,The anorectal Department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was selected.A total of 64 subjects met the inclusion criteria.Using Stata12 software,64 patients were randomly divided into two groups,32 patients in each group, and set as the treatment group and the control group. After the wound was disinfected with complex iodine, the treatment group used MEBO gauze, while the control group used Vaseline gauze, wrapped the probe, penetrated into the top of the wound,so that the gauze completely covered the wound, then covered with sterile gauze and fixed, once in the morning and once in the evening, until the wound was completely healed. The VAS score(3,7,9 days),wound area size(7,14 days),wound area reduction rate(14 days),wound healing time and scar VSS score(3,6 months)were compared between the two groups.Results:1.Wound pain: there was statistical difference between the two groups on the 3rd,7th and 9th day after operation.2.Granulation growth of wound: there was no statistical difference in granulation growth score on the 7th day after operation;there was statistical difference in granulation growth score on the 14 th day after operation3.Wound area: there was statistical difference between the two groups on the 7th and 14 th day after operation.4.Wound area reduction rate: On the 14 th day after surgery, there was a statistical difference in the wound area reduction rate between the two groups.5.Wound healing time: The wound healing time was 19.59±2.49(days)in the treatment group and 23.56±2.44(days)in the control group, showing statistical difference.6.Comprehensive efficacy: There was no statistical difference between the two groups.7.Vancouver Scar Scale: there were 30 cases remaining in the treatment group and 31 cases remaining in the control group 3 months after surgery, and the remaining cases were lost. The total score of VSS was statistically different between the two groups. There were 29 cases remaining in the treatment group and 29 cases remaining in the control group 6 months after the operation, and the remaining cases were lost. The total score of VSS was statistically different between the two groups. Conclusion:MEBO can effectively relieve the wound pain, promote the growth of new granulation tissue, accelerate wound healing and reduce scar hyperplasia after perianal abscess operation. No obvious adverse reactions and unsafe events occurred in the treatment process of this trial, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
