| Purpose: Through the observation of the efficacy and safety of Shuyu Tongbian Decoction in the treatment of female liver depression and spleen deficiency type constipation(functional constipation),to summarize the clinical experience of Professor Zhang Hongxi in the treatment of functional constipation.Material and Method: From October 2017 to January 2019,109 women who met the clinical diagnostic criteria of liver depression and spleen deficiency constipation were selected from the outpatient department of Liaoning Coloproctological Hospital.They were randomly divided into three groups(36 patients in polyethylene glycol 4000 powder group,37 patients in Xiaoyao Pill group and 36 patients in Shuyu Tongbian Decoction group).Polyethylene glycol 4000 powder group was given two bags(10g)of polyethylene glycol 4000 powder every day,once in the morning and once in the evening;Xiaoyao Pill group was given 8 pills once,three times a day;Shuyu Tongbian Decoction group was given 260 ml of Shuyu Tongbian decoction,once in the morning and once in the evening,the three groups were treated for two courses,each course was two weeks.Observed the symptoms of liver depression and spleen deficiency,constipation and the function of liver and kidney in the three groups by two courses of treatment.Three months after the treatment,the effective patients were followed up and the recurrence was recorded.Results: 1.A total of 109 patients were collected in this clinical study.Due to individual reasons,1 case of the polyethylene glycol 4000 powder group fell off and 35 cases were completed for observation;2 cases of the Xiaoyao pill group fell off and 35 cases were completed for observation;1 case of the Shuyu Tongbian Decoction group fell off and 35 cases were completed for observation,the total drop-out rate was 3.67%(4/109),and 105 cases were finally completed clinical observation.2.After two courses of treatment,the comparison in the group: except that the polyethylene glycol 400 powder group had no significant difference in the symptoms of irritability,and the Xiaoyao Pill group had no significant differences in the defecation time and the symptoms of the feeling of endless defecation.The rest symptoms were significantly different than before.Comparison between groups: The three groups of patients were compared on the symptoms of defecation frequency,insomnia,and abdominal distention and eat less.The P values were all> 0.05,and the differences were not significant.In the symptom of defecation time,the Shuyu Tongbian Decoction group was significantly different from the Xiaoyao Wan group(P = 0.033);the other comparisons were not significantly different.In the symptom of difficulty in defecation,compared with the group of Shuyu Tongbian Decoction and Xiaoyao Pill group,P = 0.042,the difference is obvious;the other comparisons are not obvious.In the symptoms of irritability,the comparison between the Xiaoyao Pill group and the polyethylene glycol 4000 powder group the difference was extremely significant(P = 0.007).The comparison between the Shuyu Tongbian Decoction group and the polyethylene glycol 4000 powder group the difference was significant(P = 0.007);There was no significant difference between Shuyu Tongbian Decoction group and Xiaoyao Pill group.3.Three months after the treatment,the recurrence rate of the polyethylene glycol 4000 powder group was 25.0%;the recurrence rate of Xiaoyao Pill was 22.2%;and the recurrence rate of Shuyu Tongbian Decoction group was 12.9%.The recurrence rate of Shuyu Tongbian Decoction group was significantly lower than the other two groups.4.There was no significant difference in liver and kidney function results between the three groups.Conclusion: Shuyu Tongbian Decoction is generally better than the polyethylene glycol 4000 powder and Xiaoyao Pills in treating constipation of liver stagnation and spleen deficiency type,and the recurrence rate after three months is significantly lower than that of the polyethylene glycol 4000 powder and Xiaoyao Pills. |
