Purpose:This study focuses on the academic thoughts and clinical experience of doctors in the Qing dynasty in the diagnosis and treatment of tinnitus,and applies the relevant methods of Chinese medicine literature to interpret and analyze the literature materials,and summarizes the periodical academic achievements of doctors in this period in the etiology,pathogenesis,symptoms,treatment,prescriptions and other contents of tinnitus.Through the comparison with modern traditional Chinese medicine tinnitus diagnosis and treatment,explore the Qing dynasty doctors diagnosis and treatment of tinnitus academic characteristics.The experience of doctors in the Qing dynasty was summarized,and the traditional thinking mode of traditional Chinese treatment of traditional Chinese medicineResults:1.In the research on the literature of more than 30 selected TCM experts in Qing dynasty,it is found that in the study of tinnitus disease names,the "theory of the separation of tinnitus and deafness" and "theory of the combination of tinnitus and deafness" existed in Qing dynasty,Tinnitus,Deafness and MingLong disease names all appeared in Qing dynasty literature2.The TCM experts in Qing dynasty had a clear and perfect understanding of the other disease differentiation of tinnitus,especially the differential diagnosis of Tinnitus and most frequently used6.In the treatment of tinnitus,TCM experts in Qing dynasty had more diverse methods and more comprehensive contents.External treatment of tinnitus was widely used in the qing dynasty,including external use of traditional Chinese medicine,massage guidance method,acupuncture and moxibustion,etc.,especially the ear plug method of traditional Chinese medicine was widely used
