Purpose:Through collating the clinical research literatures on the treatment of post-stroke depression in the past 10 years, the data mining technology was used to systematically analyze the traditional Chinese medicine data involved in the literature,to explore the rules of Chinese medicine treatment of post-stroke depression, and to provide a reference for clinical treatment.Material and method:A computer search was used to retrieve the clinical research literature on Chinese medicine for the treatment of post-stroke depression published in China Knowledge Network(CNKI)from December 2009 to December 2019.Then according to the proposed document inclusion and exclusion criteria, the included documents were finally confirmed by manual search.Data cleaning of the finally included literature, and a database of Chinese medicine was established to conduct statistics on the frequency, type, flavor and meridian tropism of the recorded traditional Chinese medicine by using Excel software, and cluster analysis and factor analysis were performed on the high-frequency Chinese medicine(frequency ≥ 15)using SPSS 22.0 software.Results:1.A total of 132 articles were included in this study, and 141 prescriptions were obtained, involving a total of 150 Chinese medicines. The total frequency of all Chinese medicines was1525.The 10 most frequently used Chinese medicines were: Bupleurum,Licorice,Chuanxiong,Yujin,Baiji.,Poria,Angelica,Pinellia,Stone Acer,Xiangfu.2.Among all kinds of traditional Chinese medicine, those whose frequency of use is more than 10% were: tonic medicine for deficiency, blood circulation and stasis medicine, antipyretics,qi regulating medicine.Among the tonic medicines,qi tonics were the most, and the sum of the proportion of qi tonics(54.42%)and blood tonics(32.32%)reached 86% of all tonics, while the proportion of Yin tonics and Yang tonics was less than 14%.3.Four qi,five flavors and meridian tropism: In the four qi aspects, warm and hot medicines were used most frequently, but there was not much difference between the use of warm and hot medicines(warm medicines + hot medicines)and cold and cool medicines(cold medicines + cool medicines).Five flavors: The most commonly used medicine is bitter.Bitter medicines, spicy medicines and sweet medicines whose use of frequency ranked top three, were more than 25% of the total, far exceeding other medicines.Regarding Meridian: The most commonly used was Meridian, and the top three Meridian in turn were: liver meridian, spleen meridian, and heart meridian.4.Cluster analysis: 32 flavors of high-frequency Chinese medicines with a frequency of more than 15 could be clustered into 9 categories: The first category: keel, oysters, scutellaria baicalensis, cinnamon sticks, rhubarb, jujube, ginseng, ginger, zongzi,Zhishi,Salvia and jujube kernels. The second category: Polygala,Acacia. The third category: peach kernel, safflower, astragalus, earth dragon, red scallion, atractylodes, angelica. The fourth category:Poria,Pinellia. The fifth category: Chenpi, coriander shell, incense stick. The sixth category:licorice, white peony. The seventh category: turmeric, stone iris. The eighth category:Chuanxiong.Ninth category: Bupleurum.5.Factor analysis: 32 pairs of high-frequency Chinese medicine could extract 10 pairs of common factors: F1: keel, oyster, rhubarb, scutellaria baicalensis, cinnamon sticks,ginger,jujube.F2: peach kernel, safflower, red chrysalis, earth dragon.F3: Fructus Aurantii,Xiangfu,Chenpi,Chuanxiong.F4: Astragalus and Angelica sinensis.F5: Pinellia ternata and Zhishi.F6:Shi Changpu and Polygala.F7: Baizhu,Poria,Salvia,Bupleurum.F8: turmeric, jujube kernel.F9: Polygala,Acacia,Licorice.F10: Bai Zhi,Ginseng,Zongzi.Conclusion:1.The most commonly used Chinese medicine for treating post-stroke depression was Chaihu.2.Tonic deficiency medicine, blood circulation promoting stasis medicine, antihypertensive medicine and qi regulating medicine were commonly used.It could be seen from the inferred pathogenesis that patients with post-stroke depression have more weakened body resistance, more blood stasis and more Qi stagnation. The application of tonic medicine and blood tonic in tonic deficiency medicine was far more than Yin tonics and Yang tonics. It could be seen that the deficiency in patients with post–stroke depression was mainly deficiency of qi and blood, and the deficiency of Yin and Yang is secondary.3.The cold and heat properties of traditional Chinese medicine for treating post-stroke depression were not obvious, and they were bitter, bitter, sweet, and belonged to the liver, spleen, and heart meridian.4.In the cluster analysis,it could be concluded that Guizhi plus Longgu oyster soup,Chaihu plus Longgu oyster soup,Buyang Huanwu decoction,Chaihu Shugan powder and other prescriptions were often used to treat post-stroke depression.5.In the results of the factor analysis, the 10 groups of common factors are drug combinations that regulate qi,promote blood circulation, soothe the nerves, invigorate qi,and tonic blood. The 10 groups of common factors included: keel, oyster;peach kernel, safflower;incense stick,Chenpi;astragalus Angelica;Polygala chinensis,Polygonum sibiricum;Atractylodes chinensis,Poria;Polygala chinensis,Acacia;Pinellia tussah,Zhishi;Yujin,Sour Jujube Kernel;10 common medicinal pairs of Radix Ginseng and Ginseng.6.Our supervisor uses the method of activating qi and activating blood and warming yang to treat post-stroke depression.Among them, the method of activating qi and promoting blood circulation is a conventional treatment method, and the view of Shaozu Wenyang medicine is our supervisor’s unique experience.
