Purpose:Adopt "qingrun" therapy to treat post-infectious cough of children(syndrome of yin deficiency and lung heat),using clinical empirical prescription Zhike No.1 plus or minus.Objectively evaluate the clinical effect of Zhike No.1 plus or minus prescription on post-infectious cough of children(syndrome of yin deficiency and lung heat)by comparing the indexes before and after treatment to broaden the treatment idea of post-infectious cough of children.Data and method:70 children with post-infectious cough(syndrome of yin deficiency and lung heat)who were treated in the pediatric outpatient of the First Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2017 to December2019 and met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group, with 35 cases in each group. The treatment group was given Zhike No.1 plus or minus prescription and montelukast sodium tablets orally, while the control group was only given montelukast sodium tablets orally. The treatment cycle was 14 days, after 14 days, the changes of the two groups of children before and after treatment were comprehensively analyzed in terms of TCM syndrome score and visual analogue scale of cough symptoms, and the efficacy was analyzed by comparing the data before and after treatment.Results:1.The data of the treatment group and the control group were analyzed in terms of gender distribution and age distribution, both of which were P>0.05.The difference between the two groups was not statistically significant and was comparable.2.Before treatment, the data of the two groups were analyzed in terms of the total score of TCM syndromes, the score of main symptoms of TCM,the score of secondary symptoms of TCM,and the visual analogue scale of cough symptoms, all of which were P>0.05.The difference between the two groups was not statistically significant and was comparable.3.After treatment, data analysis was performed in the two groups:(1)In the treatment group, the total score of TCM syndromes, the score of main symptoms of TCM,the score ofsecondary symptoms of TCM,and the visual analogue scale of cough symptoms were all P<0.01.There were statistically significant differences.(2)In the control group, the total score of TCM syndromes, the score of main symptoms and the score of secondary symptoms in "dry and itchy throat" and the visual analogue scale of cough symptoms were all P<0.01.There were statistically significant differences. The score of secondary symptoms in "poor sleep quality" was P<0.05.There were statistical differences. The score of secondary symptoms in "feverishness in palms and soles","night sweats" and "dry stools" were all P>0.05.The difference was not statistically significant.4.After treatment, data were analyzed between the two groups:(1)In terms of the total score of TCM syndromes and the score of secondary symptoms in "feverishness in palms and soles","night sweats","dry stools" and the visual analogue scale of cough symptoms were all P<0.01.There were statistically significant differences.(2)The score of main symptoms of TCM and the score of secondary symptoms in "poor sleep quality" were P<0.05.There were statistical differences.(3)The score of secondary symptoms in "dry and itchy throat" was P>0.05.The difference was not statistically significant.5.The treatment group: the total effective rate was 93.94%.The control group: the total effective rate was 81.25%.The data of TCM syndrome efficacy between the two groups were analyzed(P<0.01)and there were statistically significant differences.Conclusion:1.Zhike No.1 plus or minus prescription combined with montelukast sodium and montelukast sodium alone both have curative effects on post-infectious cough of children(syndrome of yin deficiency and lung heat),and the former is obviously better than the latter.2.Zhike No.1 plus or minus prescription combined with montelukast sodium is significantly better than montelukast sodium alone for the relief of cough symptoms on post-infectious cough of children(syndrome of yin deficiency and lung heat).3.Zhike No.1 plus or minus prescription combined with montelukast sodium and montelukast sodium alone both have effects on the secondary symptoms of "poor sleep quality",and the former is better than the latter.4.Zhike No.1 plus or minus prescription combined with montelukast sodium has a significanteffect on the secondary symptoms of "feverishness in palms and soles","night sweats" and "dry stools".Montelukast sodium alone has no obvious effect.5.Zhike No.1 plus or minus prescription for treating post-infectious cough of children(syndrome of yin deficiency and lung heat)is effective. There is no obvious adverse reaction, and the security is okay.Further research and promotion can be considered, and it can broaden the treatment ideas of TCM on post-infectious cough of children.
