Purpose:Chronic urticaria(CU)and Acute urticaria(AU)patients were analyzed in terms of general conditions, laboratory examination, traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment and outcome.Based on the data of Cu and Au patients during hospitalization, the differences between the general characteristics of Au and Cu are summarized. To analyze the bias of Au patients and Cu patients in the treatment plan, and its impact on the disease outcome,so as to provide a broader idea for doctors to explore the risk factors of Au to Cu progress in the future. Methods:Clinical data of 160 CU and 60 AU patients hospitalized in the department of dermatology of our hospital from January 2018 to December 2019 were collected and retrospectively analyzed.Excel was used to input medical record information,SPSS statistical software was used for statistical analysis of each indicator,chi-square test, independent sample T test and Spear man rank correlation statistical method were used for analysis, and P<0.05 was statistically significant.Results:1.General situation:among 220 patients with urticaria,160 were CU patients and 60 were AU patients. The ration of male to female was 1:2.9and 1:1.5respectively;the average hospitalization days were(11.52.7)days and(9.52.7)days respectively, and the average age of onset was(52.214.3)and(45.5014.51)years respectively. Most of the patients live in citie.2.Disease related history:The onset season of CU patients was mostly in summer, but no obvious deviation was found in the onset reason of AU patients;a few patients had obvious inducing factors;69 CU and 17 AU patients had allergic history.Forty-five(28.13%)CU patients and 22(36.67%)AU patients were associated with circulatory diseases. Both 54.37%CU patients and 80% AU patients were accompanied by symptoms of dyspnea when the rash worsened.3.Laboratory examination: After admission, routine laboratory examination showed that thecommonly associated laboratory abnormalities include serum total Ig E,food intolerance, increased c-reactive protein(CRP),increased eosinophil count, liver function, renal function, myocardial enzyme spectrum, blood lipid, immunoglobulin, thyroid function and positive antinuclear antibody spectrum. The number of CU patients was 97(66.44%),130(95.59%),63(39.37%),12(7.5%),46(28.75%),12(7.5%),49(30.62%),33(31.73%),142(88.75%),17(10.63%),and 26(16.25%)respectively.The number of AU patients was 43(72.88%),45(100%),23(38.33%),4(6.67%),24(40%),2(3.33%),22(36.67%),6(15.79%),53(88.33%),11(18.33%),and 7(11.67%)respectively.Statistical comparison showed that the difference in curative effects between different treatment options of CU patients was statistically significant, and that of AU patients was not statistically significant.4.Treatment: Common treatments of urticaria in our department include oral traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)decoction,TCM characteristic treatment, external use of TCM,oral antihistamines, external use of Western medicine and hormone treatment. The number of CU patients receiving the above treatment was 129(80.63%),134(83.75%),47(29.37%),157(98.13%),70(43.75%),and 20(12.5%)respectively.The number of AU patients receiving the above treatment was 34(56.67%),43(71.67%),22(36.67%),60(100%),23(38.33%),and 21(35%)respectively.Statistical comparison showed that the difference in the acceptance of oral Chinese herbal medicine decoction,TCM characteristic treatment and hormone therapy between the two groups of patients was statistically significant, and the remaining treatment acceptance was not statistically significant.5.Curative effect: The total effective rates of CU and AU patients were 86.25% and 91.67%,respectively;the effective rates of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment of CU and AU patients were 88.49% and 95.55%,respectively;the effective rate of exclusive western medicine treatment of CU and AU patients were 71.43% and 80%,respectively.Statistical comparison showed that the difference in curative effects between different treatment options of CU patients was statistically significant, and that of AU patients was not statistically significant.Conclusion:1.In this study, women with Cu were more likely to have a higher incidence, and the averageage and hospital stay of Cu patients were longer than those of Au patients.2.In this study, some patients are easy to combine with other system diseases, and circulatory system diseases are the most common.AU patients were more likely to have concomitant symptoms and receive hormone therapy. The rate of previous allergic history in Cu patients is higher than that in Au patients.3.In this study, there was no statistically significant difference between the laboratory results of CU and AU patients.4.In this study,The acceptability of hormone therapy was higher in AU patients than in CU patients. The acceptability of CU in oral Chinese medicine decoction and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine was higher than that in AU patients.5.In this study, the effect of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine on CU was more significant.
