| Objective:To observe the efficacy,safety and advantage of Flavored Liu Wei Di Huang decoction in the treatment of liver-kidney Yin Deficiency Syndrome of senile knee osteoarthritisMethods:According to Doll’s table,80 elderly patients with knee osteoarthritis were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Celecoxib capsule and the treatment group was treated with Flavored Liu Wei Di Huang decoction.Both groups were treated continuously for 4 weeks.The Clinical Curative Effect,Tcm Syndrome Score,VAS score and WOMAC score were observed before and after treatment.SPSS25.0 was used to analyze the clinical curative effectResults:Judgement of curative effect:The total effective rate of the treatment group was 92.50%,the total effective rate of the control group was 70.00%.There was significant difference in the total effective rate of the two groups(P<0.01).TCM syndrome integral and curative effect:There was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),and the TCM syndrome integral of the two groups decreased significantly after treatment(P<0.01),the degree of decrease was more obvious(P<0.01).The total effective rate of TCM Syndrome in the treatment group was 90.00%,and that in the control group was 62.50%.There was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).VAS score of knee joint:There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),and the scores of the two groups were significantly lower(P<0.01),and the decrease was more significant(P<0.01).WOMAC score of knee joint:There was no significant difference in WOMAC score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),and the WOMAC score of the two groups decreased significantly after treatment(P<0.01),and the decrease was more significant in the treatment group than in the control group(P<0.01)Conclusion:Flavored Liu Wei Di Huang decoction can obviously relieve the pain and dysfunction of the elderly patients with knee osteoarthritis,improve their quality of life,improve TCM syndromes,and lower the WOMAC score of the patients’knee joint.The overall clinical effect is obviously better than that of conventional Western medicine treatment,the incidence of adverse reactions is low,the medication is safe,and it is worth popularizing in clinic. |
