Objective:(1)Discussing the similarities and differences between acupuncture and moxibustion from the perspective of literature through the collation and analysis of ancient and modern acupuncture and moxibustion literature,so as to provide theoretical basis for clinical specific choice of acupuncture or moxibustion.(2)By comparing the difference of acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of chronic gastritis and their effects on TCM syndromes of patients with liver-stomach disharmony type and spleen-stomach asthenia and cold type CG,this paper discusses the advantages of acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of CG,and provides a basis for better clinical selection of appropriate acupuncture methods.Methods:(1)The research methods of traditional Chinese medicine literature were used to analyze the discussion and research results of acupuncture and moxibustion in ancient and modern Chinese medicine literature, and summarize the similarities and differences between acupuncture and moxibustion.(2)The 100 cases of chronic gastritis of liver-stomach disharmony type and spleen-stomach asthenia and cold type included in this study were randomly divided into acupuncture group and moxibustion group by random number table method, with 50 cases in each group.Acupuncture group and moxibustion group were respectively treated with acupuncture and mild moxibustion. The same acupoint selection program was adopted to select acupoints according to syndrome differentiation. Each treatment lasted 30 min,3 times a week, and the treatment course was 8 weeks. The main symptom score,TCM syndrome score,SF-36 scale score and the occurrence of adverse reactions were observed before treatment,4 weeks and 8 weeks of treatment.Results:(1)Through the analysis of the ancient and modern acupuncture literaturechiefly summarizes the similarity of the acupuncture and moxibustion in both therapy for surface stimulus characteristics, subject to pathology, guided by the proof review point, with taking care of both tip and root for the principle,to use both benefiting and attacking principles as the means,to dredge the meridians as a fundamental, for the purpose of balancing Yin and Yang eight aspects; The differences between acupuncture and moxibustion are mainly reflected in the six aspects of intervention instruments, function characteristics, body reaction, key to effect, operative technique, and appropriate disease and syndrome.(2)1.During the study period,no adverse reactions were found in the acupuncture group and moxibustion group. The total effective rate was 84.44% in the acupuncture group and 86.96% in the moxibustion group, there was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups(P>0.05).2.After treatment, the scores of main symptoms of acupuncture group and moxibustion group were significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.05 or P<0.01),and there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).3.After treatment,SF-36 scale scores in acupuncture group and moxibustion group were significantly higher than before treatment(P<0.05 or P<0.01),and there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).4.After treatment, the scores of TCM syndromes of liver and stomach disharmony in acupuncture group and moxibustion group were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05 or P<0.01),and the comparison between the two groups, the acupuncture group was significantly lower than moxibustion group(P<0.05).5.After treatment, the scores of TCM syndromes of spleen-stomach astir and cold in moxibustion group and moxibustion group were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05 or P<0.01),and the comparison between the two groups, the moxibustion group was significantly lower than acupuncture group(P <0.05).Conclusion: 1.Acupuncture and moxibustion treatment CG is safe and effective;2.Acupuncture and moxibustion can both effectively improve the clinical symptoms and quality of life of CG patients, and there is no significant difference in the therapeutic effect between the two.3.Acupuncture has more advantages in improving the TCM syndromes of liver-stomach disharmony CG patients, and moxibustion has more advantages in improving the TCM syndromes of spleen-stomach asthenia and cold-type CG patients, indicating that acupuncture and moxibustion have their respective dominant syndromes, and their therapeutic effects are different.
