Objective:Analyzing the experience of ancient acupuncturists in meridian, part and point selection via data mining(DM),and observating the Chronic Gastritis(CG)patients' sensitized point/area distribution rule of patients with tenderness detector and image analysis technique, this article aims at providing the basis for the CG modern clinical practice. Methods:It consists of two parts.Part 1 involves ancient literature DM of CG:determine the target literature, search terms, inclusion and exclusion criteria, combine the computer and manual retrieval to construct the database, and analyze the frequency, association to acquire ancient doctors' experience in selecting and matching points.Part 2 involves the observation of the CG sensitized point/area distribution rule: the case group—patients meeting the inclusion criteria, and the control group—healthy people without major or complicated basic diseases are in the same time interval.Formulate the exploration strategy, detect and record the pressing pain. Then overlap the distribution, and compare their tenderness thresholds with the healthy group's corresponding areas. Results: 1 Part 1 includes 2243 literature sections, covering 224 points for the treatment. The stomach-relevant closely channels are selected more often, especially bladder, spleen, stomach and Ren meridian. Both the near and far efficacy of pathological changes are emphasized, especially lower limbs. In terms of acupoint,Zusanli,Neiguan,Zhongwan,Gongsun and Taibai are most commonly.LiangmenXiangu is the most common correlation for epigastralgia, and Neiguan-Gongsun for the syndrome of upper Qi.Five-Shu points, the most common use of specific points,is followed by front-mu points.Neiguan-Gongsun is the strongest correlation of specific acupoints.2 Part 2 is the number and distribution of sensitized points/areas: 83 of 128 subjects are found sensitized(64.84%): lower limbs,T4-T10 and stomach meridians are respectively the densest parts, ganglion segments and meridians;acupoints Zusanli, liangmen,Zhongwan,Weishu are in order of frequency, with above 18%sensitization rate;besides,17 points are only detected once(13.28%);tenderness is the most common sensitization form;among the top 13 points with the highest frequency, the tenderness incidence in CG group is significantly higher than that in health group(P < 0.01),with the statistically significant difference of both lower threshold means and medians in CG(P < 0.05).Conclusion: 1.Ancient doctors tend to underline syndrome and meridians differentiation in stomach disease treatment, and the combination of near and far acupoints, and make specific acupoints good use.2.There are different types and degrees of CG patients' sensitization points/areas,and their distribution has a certain regularity.3.Not only internal relations but certain recognition differences of sensitization points/areas and acupoint selection are in ancient and modern times.
