Purpose:To evaluate the effects of postoperative oral administration of Chinese medicine and intraoperative retention of the tibia stump on the healing of the tibia after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction.Material and method:From November 2016 to April 2018,a total of 360 patients with ACL fractures were treated with the Department of Sports Medicine of Shenyang Orthopaedic Hospital.Using the 2×2 factorial design table, factors A(postoperative oral Chinese medicine glutinous pills)and factor B(surgical retention of stumps)were used as factors for investigation, each with 2 levels(with or without),according to screening criteria.A total of 316 patients were enrolled and randomized into 4 groups with a random number remainder group, with 79 patients in each group.Correspondingly,4 sets of different treatment plans were given,A group was routinely reconstructed ACL;B group was used to preserve ACL;3 cases were routinely reconstructed in combination with postoperative oral gluten pills;D group was preserved and reconstructed combined with postoperative oral administration 3 courses of gluten pills. After 1 year of follow-up,25 patients were lost, and a total of 291 patients were followed up(group A = 73 cases, group B = 72 cases, group C =73 cases, group D = 73 cases).Subjective assessments were performed using Lysholm score and IKDC score at 3,6,and 12 months postoperatively.KT-2000 was used to measure anterior tibia patency of the affected side relative to the contralateral side and MRI was used to assess iliac-bone healing.Results:1.Lysholm score:Factor 1(internal Chinese medicine),factor 2(retention and reconstruction),factor 1 ×factor 2 in the 3,6 and 12 months postoperative data were all normal and variance homogeneity, each factor P <0.05 and two factors existed Interactions;group A mean:59.26/71.41/76.89;group B mean 59.24/71.64/77.10;group C mean 64.36/72.23/81.90;group D mean 70.79/79.63/88.262.IKDC score:Factor 1(internal Chinese medicine),factor 2(retention and reconstruction),factor 1 ×factor 2 in the 3,6 and 12 months postoperative data were all normal and variance homogeneity, each factor P <0.05 and two factors existed Interactions;group A mean:61.70/67.25/73.69;group B mean 61.69/67.06/73.64;group C mean 64.34/72.29/82.27;group D mean 68.52/76.84/86.953.KT-2000 Rating:Factor 1(internal Chinese medicine),factor 2(retention and reconstruction),factor 1 ×factor 2 in the 3,6 and 12 months postoperative data were all normal and variance homogeneity, each factor P <0.05 and two factors existed Interactions;the mean values of group A were: 12.33/9.93/7.11;the mean values of group B were12.28/9.76/7.19 C,respectively, the mean values were 10.08/8.44/6.56;the mean values of group D were 8.07/6.59/5.59,respectively.4.MRI score:Factor 1(internal Chinese medicine),factor 2(retention and reconstruction),factor 1 ×factor 2 in the 3,6 and 12 months postoperative data were all normal and variance homogeneity, each factor P <0.05 and two factors existed Interactions;group A mean:2.82/3.44/3.93;group B mean 2.85/3.42/3.92;group C mean 3.33/3.60/4.41;group D mean3.66/3.88/4.67Conclusion:1.Oral Chinese medicine Bujin Pill can promote the healing of the tibia after reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament;2.The internal retention of Chinese medicine Bujin Pill combined with residual stump has the best effect on postoperative tibia healing;3.Compared with the non-conservative reconstruction, the recovery of the tibia after surgery is quite similar;...
