Background: arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament(ACL)reconstruction can effectively improve the mechanical integrity of the knee joint, but according to the patient's complaints,it is not completely recovered, and there is still a sense of instability of the knee joint after the operation. In addition, many patients have another rupture of ACL after treatment, the main reason is that the postoperative motor ability and proprioception can not reach the level before injury. Therefore, the rehabilitation training after ACL reconstruction can not be ignored, but the current medical community has not established a unified standard of proprioception rehabilitation after ACL.Objective: to compare the efficacy of General Rehabilitation Training and Balance Promotion Training in improving proprioception of patients after ACL salvage surgery,to find out whether Balance Promotion Training has advantages in proprioception recovery of patients after ACL salvage and reconstruction. Methods: from October 2018 to August 2019,30 patients who went to Sichuan Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine for arthroscopic ACL salvage and reconstruction were studied.According to the rehabilitation plan, the patients were divided into two groups: balance promoting group and general rehabilitation group. Results: all patients were followed up 3 or 6 months after operation. The results showed that the postoperative recovery was good, and no complications related to the operation occurred. The results of two follow-up showed that the knee joint activity of all patients recovered. On this index, there was no significant difference between the groups. In the stability test, the results of two follow-up showed that one case was positive 3 months after the operation of Lachman test in the balance training group, one case was positive 6 months after the operation, and the rest were negative. One case of Lachman test was positive in general rehabilitation group 3 months after operation, one case was positive in 6months after operation, the rest were negative. In the axial shift test, one case in the balance promotion group was positive in both follow-up and the rest was negative. In the general rehabilitation group,1 case was positive in both follow-up and the rest was negative. There was no significant difference between the two groups.Lysholm score was improved in both groups before and after operation. But in this index, the p value of the three months and six months after operation was higher than 0.05,there was no significant difference. In terms of the average error rate of trajectories and the standard deviation of the trunk, the comparison within the group before and after the operation was significantly improved. The p-value of the comparison between the groups at three months after the operation was greater than 0.05,indicating that there was no significant difference in the balance /proprioception between the two groups at three months after the operation. The p-value of the comparison between the groups at six months after the operation was less than 0.05,and the balance promotion group was superior to the general rehabilitation group. It was proved that on these two indicators, the balance promotion group was superior to the general rehabilitation group It has better effect. Conclusion: both the general rehabilitation group and the balance promotion group can improve the stability of the knee joint, relieve the clinical symptoms and promote the recovery of the patients' motor ability. However, compared with general rehabilitation, balance promoting training has a better effect in improving proprioception and balance ability in the near future.
