Clinical Observation On The Effect Of Qizhi Huoluo Decoction On Elderly Cerebral Infarction Accompanied By Hyperhomocysteinemia

Objective: This study aims to observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Qizhi Huoluo Decoction on elderly cerebral infarction(sequelae stage)with Hyperhomocysteinemia(HHCY)and the intervention effect on homocysteine levels.The purpose is to find an effective treatment for the clinical diagnosis and treatment in the future.Methods:According to the inclusion criteria,the study subjects who finally met were divided into a control group of 32 persons and a experimental group of 31 persons by means of random number table method.The control group was treated with conventional Western medicine treatment and folic acid tablets,vitamin B6 tablets,and vitamin B12 tablets.The experimental group,meanwhile,was treated with traditional Chinese medicine decoction called Qizhi Huoluo Decoction.After a 4-week course of treatment,the collected data were analyzed and processed in a unified manner,and the two groups were observed before and after treatment,the scores of the efficacy of TCM syndromes,as well as the activities of daily living(BI)scores,the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score changes,and the detection of homocysteine(Hcy)and superoxide dismutation Changes in the levels of superoxide dismutase(SOD)and nitric oxide(NO)and analysis of index data.Results:1.TCM syndrome score: The experimental group has obvious advantages in improving TCM syndromes.2.Clinical efficacy: The total effective rate of the experimental group is 76.67%,and the total effective rate of the control group is 56.67%.The experimental group is superior to the control group in improving the clinical efficacy.3.Neurological impairment scores:NIHSS scores decreased after treatment in the two groups,and the experimental group improved more significantly(P<0.05).4.Daily life ability(using BI index): The experimental group has more advantages in improving the living ability of patients.5.Curative effect of related inspection indicators: It shows that Qizhi Huoluo Decoction has a significant promoting effect on reducing the plasma Hcy level of patients,but has no obvious effect on NO and SOD indicators.6.There were no obvious adverse reactions in all cases during the experimental observation,and had a high safety.Conclusion: Experiments have shown that Qizhi Huoluo Decoction has a good effect on improving the clinical symptoms of on elderly cerebral infarction with hyperhomocysteinemia,improving neurological deficits,improving independent living ability,and promoting the reduction of Hcy levels.It has high safety and can be used for clinical promotion and application.
