Research On Patent Literature Metrology And Common Structure Of Meridian Acupuncture Devices

Objective:In order to understand the design ideas and concepts of modern meridian-tendon acupuncture treatment tools,collate the patent applications of domestic meridian-tendon acupuncture instruments,analyze the characteristics of patent documentation,explore the structure and function design of meridian-tendon acupuncture treatment instruments,and analyze the common characteristics,so as to further develop meridian-tendon acupuncture.Instruments provide ideas.Materials and methods:Patent information and authorization materials are from the Patent Examination Information Query Platform of the State Intellectual Property Office(http://cpquery.sipo.gov.cn/),CNKI database,and the full text of application and authorization is from Soopat Patent Query Website.Through searching the key words "meridian tendon","tendon","Lijin","massage","massage","acupuncture","long round needle","special needle" and the IPC main classification A61(medicine or veterinary medicine;hygiene),the patent literature of meridian tendon acupuncture treatment tools was screened manually.Microsoft Excel 2016 is used to register the patent information retrieved,and the patent information with the same patent number is removed by the function of de-duplication.The information content and abstract are screened to remove the patents not related to medicine,such as industrial patents such as reinforcing bars,warp and weft bars and other braiding patents.Patents related to meridian-tendon therapy were analyzed,and the patent of meridian-tendon acupuncture was analyzed by bibliometrics.Statistical analysis was made on the number of applications,types and regions of applicants,classification of applications and legal status of patents,and the status quo of patent applications for Jingjin needle-punching appliances was analyzed.Then download and extract the main structural features of each needle patents.According to whether the needle tip is edged or not and whether the needle is hollow,the needle is divided into needle,cutter and injection categories.The structural information and related parameters of needle patents are collected and analyzed according to the needle body,needle tip and needle handle in turn to determine the common characteristics of the needle treatment devices.Results: 1.Retrieving 3562 patents,removing duplicate patents and medical-unrelated patents such as "reinforcing bar" and "warp and weft bar".The remaining 1223 patents and 95 patents of needle-punching appliances were manually screened.2.The earliest patent of meridian needle in China appeared in 1990.After 2005,the patent of meridian needle has developed rapidly,and the application volume has been maintained at more than 20 pieces every five years.Among them,77 patents for utility models and 7 patents for inventions.3.The patent application area covers 23 provinces,municipalities,autonomous regions and the United States and other foreign countries.Among them,11 in Henan,11 in Shandong,10 in Jiangsu,8 in Guangdong and 7 in Liaoning are the top provinces,accounting for 50% of the total amount of applications.Four patent applications are mainly for individual patents,74 for individual patents,14 for universities,hospitals and research institutes,and 7 for enterprises.Among the patent legal status of 5 meridian-tendon needle-punching instruments,37 patents are entitled,52 patents are not entitled,6 patents are examined,and up to 45 patents are terminated in the unauthorized patents,followed by 5 patents withdrawn and 2 patents rejected.Among the patents of needle tools,40 non-bladed needles,55 with blades,21 with holes,74 with solid patents,the majority of the patents for needle materials are clear needle materials,and the determined needle materials are mainly stainless steel.Each patent explicitly uses silver,tungsten-manganese-copper alloy,stainless steel and silver alloy,stainless steel and copper wire.There are three parts in solid needle patent offices: needle tip(or needle),needle body(or needle body),needle handle.The shape of needle body is mainly cylindrical,totaling 22 pieces,followed by 6 round tables,3 prisms,1 elliptical column or other irregular shape.The average diameter and length of needles were 1.12+0.58 mm and 83.56+5.68 mm,of which 7 were fine needles with diameter less than 0.5 mm,12 were medium-thick needles with diameter between 0.5 mm and 1.0 mm,and 12 were thick needles with diameter greater than 1.0 mm.8 Patented Solid Needle Tools: 27 round needle tips,2 triangular bottom,2 quadrilateral bottom,16 round blunt needle tips,4 conical needle tips,4 hemispherical needle tips,1 pine needle tip,2 crochet needles and other special needle tips;2 triangular bottom is triangular cone,2 pieces;4 quadrilateral bottom is flat needle tips,2 pieces.The needle and needle body of 24 needles are directly natural transition,and the maximum diameter of the needle is the same as that of the needle body.Seven patents have different shapes of needles and needles,and needle diameter is larger or smaller than needle diameter.The structure of the needle handle is mostly a cylinder parallel to the needle body.Its diameter is slightly thicker than that of the needle body,totaling 13 pieces.Secondly,six pieces of dragon-shaped pattern are made of metal wire.The flat needle handle is mainly a gourd head,three pieces,two cuboids and one cylinder.Another needle of Yao medicine is a long cylinder commonly used,but the needle handle is higher than the needle body vertically.The therapeutic effects of various kinds of needles are mostly to release,separate and bleed the starting and ending points of the repeatedly injured soft tissues,improve the local blood circulation and hypoxia,restore the biochemical balance,achieve the goal of activating blood circulation and dredging collaterals to absorb inflammatory exudation,terminate or reduce the production of local painful media,make the pathological reflex of nerves become physiological reflex,achieve the purpose of pain relief,and at the same time relieve pain.Local nerve and blood vessel entrapment improved the mechanical relationship of muscle group disharmony,reached a new dynamic balance,and achieved therapeutic effect.Conclusion: 1.Patent applications for meridian needles are on the rise,but patent applications for inventions are insufficient and patent validity is not good.2.The meridian tendon needles can be classified into needles,knives and injections according to whether they have edges or not and whether they are hollow or not.3.The stiffened needles are usually made of stainless steel metal.The needle body is cylindrical in design and has a larger diameter(diameter > 0.5mm).The needle is round and blunt,and the handle is thicker than the needle body or has a panlong-shaped wire.
