A Retrospective Analysis Of Clinical Data Of 77 Children With Peripheral Facial Paralysis

Purpose:Reading relevant literature about facial neuritis to organize the related factors influencing the facial neuritis clinical course.Then make a summary of clinical datas on the children who treatmented facial neuritis at our hospital pediatric in 2015-2017.Exploring the factors associated with facial neuritis course and expecting to provide a scientific basis for prevention and treatment of facial neuritis in children.Material and method:Through the use of Chinese academic journals,Chinese academic journal database,Chinese science and technology journals about children's facial neuritis.Organize the related factors influencing the facial neuritis clinical course and make the survey registration form.A total of 77 cases of facial neuritis were collected from our hospital pediatric in 2015-2017.Establish a database by these clinical information and analysis single factor by using the statistical software SPSS20.0.Then analysis the factors that there is statistical significance(P < 0.05)by multiariable Logistic regression analysis.Confine the risk factors and protective factors related facial neuritis course with B(regression coefficient)and OR(odds ratio).Results:1.There are these factors associated with facial paralysis course : gender,age,weight,family history,history of diabetes,onset season,the triggers,whether to have other diseases or symptoms,infections(including bacteria,viruses,mycoplasma pneumoniae),time of acupuncture,the use of hormones in the acute phase and addiction to partial diet in usual.2.The results of single factor analysis that there is statistical significance(P < 0.05)including the onset season,other diseases or symptoms,the use of hormones in the acute phase and addiction to partial diet in usual.3.The results of multiariable Logistic regression analysis showed that the onset of summer is the protective factor in facial paralysis(B < 0,OR < 1),the other diseases and symptoms and addiction to partial diet in usual are risk factors(B > 0,OR > 1).Conclusion:1.The onset of summer is the protective factor in facial paralysis,.The other diseases and symptoms and addiction to partial diet in usual are risk factors.2.If children suffering from facial paralysis,attention should be paid to prevent from the infection of other diseases,and at the same time to correct the dietary habit of partial addicted to promote facial paralysis restored.Children should also pay attention to correct dietary habit of partial addicted to prevent recurrence.
