Research On The Xing Shen Concept In "Huang Di Nei Jing"

Huang Di Nei Jing(hereafter Nei Jing)is a classic book which highly combining traditional Chinese medicine and philosophy in ancient China.Only by strengthening the study of its philosophical theory can we fully understand the connotation of the classic thoughts in Nei Jing.Relationship between "xing" and "shen" is the important theoretical contents of the philosophy of Nei Jing.The theory of "xing" and "shen" involved in it fully reflects the basic characteristics of Chinese traditional philosophy.Therefore,the study of the relationship between "xing and shen " of Nei Jing has important academic value.This paper discusses the concept,characteristics and the relationship between "xing" and "shen",explores its characters in philosophy and also refines the philosophical thoughts about "xing" and "shen" in Nei Jing.On this basis,the perspective of Western philosophy is introduced,and the relationship between the "xing and shen" and the Western "physical and mental" relationship is compared.The relationship between physical and mental is an important basic problem in modern western philosophy.Nei Jing is a work which highly combines medicine and philosophy.Its philosophical wisdom in dealing with the relationship between "xing and shen" helps us to better think about the "physical and mental relationship" in Western philosophy.At the same time,under the comparative perspective of China and the West,we can truly see the unique wisdom of Nei Jing,in dealing with "physical and mental relationship".Through research,we believe that the view of the unity of "xing" and "shen" in Neijing is mainly reflected in-"xing" gives birth to "shen",the "xing" can't survive without "shen",the damage of "xing and shen" is mutual influence,"Xing and shen" to complete daily life activities together.In order to overcome the problem of physical and mental separation,Nei Jing incorporates the relationship between "xing and shen" into the "Qi-YinYang-Five Elements " dynamic balance system.This point of view expounds the idea of "shen forms naturally",and realize the integration of physical and mental through "the heart stores the shen".The unity of "xing and shen" in Nei Jing has an important influence on shaping thinking mode of pathological view of TCM,diagnostic viewpoint and health viewpoint and also enlightens people's life outlook.The viewpoint that the unity of "xing and shen" in Nei Jing has important theoretical significance and practical value in the history of Chinese and western philosophy and contemporary medicine.
