Decision support system which is based on data warehouse technique has been establishing in Chinese large hospitals.Multidimensional reports and rich graphics transform messy data into information which can help hospital managers to make decisions.And the system obtains good effects.With people's increasing concern for health,the number of examinees in the physical examination center of the large hospitals is increasing day by day,and the managers have the need for scientific and delicacy operating management of the physical examination center.The physical examination items are various in the XY hospital physical examination center,while XY hospital doesn't have a decision support system for the whole hospital at present.Therefore,the construction of the decision support system of XY hospital medical examination center can not only provide decision-making information for the operating management of physical examination center,but also provide useful reference for the construction of the data warehouse of the whole hospital in the future.Objective:Summarizing the operating management decision-making indexes of XY hospital physical examination center by demand analysis,considering with the data of indexes and the data of the existing database,the concept data model and the logical data model of data warehouse were created,which can not only storage the operating management data of physical examination center,but also can reduce redundancy and adapt to the need of on-line analytical processing.Method:By using the method of documentary,utilizing cnki,wanfang and Internet search to check relevant policies of the medical examination industry,operating management decision-making indexes and data standards of physical examination center were summarized.By using the method of information system analysis,the design sequence of data warehouse,the hierarchical structure of data warehouse and the modeling method of data model are determined through systematic analysis.Result:Concept data model and the logical data model of physical examination center data warehouse were constructed.In the concept data model,considering with both other hospitals'data warehouse design and the actual operation of XY hospital physical examination center,four subjects were determined,which contained examinees,package,medical care and code.And the four subjects and the relationships were described by E-R graph.In the logical data model,in order to minimize data redundancy and meet the needs of the on-line analytical processing,base layer and summary layer were designed.Base layer were designed in accordance with the third normal form relation model as closely as possible.Data in base layer came from many hospital operation systems,and store in the data warehouse by subj ects The mapping relationship between operation systems and data warehouse were confirmed.The summary layer uesd the star model.Except for the date dimension,which needs external data,other data come from the base layer.Conclusion:The decision support system intuitively reflects the operation situation of the physical examination center,and converts scattered data in the data warehouse into decision-making auxiliary information for the managers of the physical examination center.By displaying the income of physical examination,income of package and instrument panel,it is helpful for the physical examination center to conduct scientific and delicacy operating management.At the meanwhile,the decision support system of the physical examination center stores the data closely related to the physical examination.While providing the hospital managers with operating decisions,it is beneficial for the hospital to have a more comprehensive grasp of the health status of the physical examination patients and enable them to receive better services.
